Job Summary:
Our progressive and expanding company is in search of a facilities (ACMV) Engineer.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provide daily and strategic engineering oversight to the Operations team in maintaining and troubleshooting equipment and systems.
- To ensure the maintenance programs and rectification jobs are manage by a team of technical officers and technicians efficiently.
- Responsible for the daily AC thermal comfort are within acceptable limit.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations.
- Troubleshoot challenging problems.
- Implement efficiency improvement on the operational process, innovating and implementing systems improvement on energy conservation.
- Preparing reports and documentation.
- Creating maintenance plans and schedules.
- Project manage, Coordinating contractors for installation and maintenance projects.
- Plan, schedule and supervise Preventive and Corrective Maintenance work activities, priorities and reallocate resource when required, on ACMV equipment system under the responsibilities of Facilities organization.
- Conducting research on systems and equipment and presenting this information to key stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Evaluating the efficiency of systems and equipment within a facility.
- Lead and participate in equipment and system abnormalities root cause analysis, attend review meeting, and provide update, then execute corrective and preventive action for continual improvement, this includes installation and modification work on existing or new mechanical equipment and system.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Degree / Diploma in Engineering (mechanical, electrical, industrial disciplines or facilities management).
- Knowledge of ACMV/HVAC air-conditioning
- Be able to conduct conditional assessment for existing systems.
- Well verse in local regulatory requirements.
- Generate Project ROM, Budget Estimates, Power Point Presentation
- Must possess leadership abilities and good client maintenance skills
- Knowledge of construction principles and building processes
- Understanding of building regulations and health & safety
- Problem-solving skills
- Experience with project management principlesabnormalities, implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Conduct conditional assessments and develop expertise in assigned equipment.
- Estimate labour for complex installations and ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements.
