Location: Kranji, Singapore (with travel to different sites as needed)
Salary: Up to SGD 6,500 (commensurate with experience)
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the Quality Control (QC) team (1 QA Executive and 8 QC Inspector) to ensure continuous improvement and compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and customer expectations.
- Support all operational quality-related activities, including reviewing quality requirements and ensuring adherence to ISO 9001 standards.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and act as the Management Representative (MR) for ISO audits in manufacturing and quality processes.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of products and processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with production staff to resolve quality control issues and perform root cause analysis, including the formulation of 8D, corrective, and preventive actions.
- Develop and maintain quality control documentation, including equipment calibration records.
- Ensure all products meet quality and safety standards before release.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Work closely with other departments to integrate quality control procedures across all business functions.
- Provide training and guidance to QA/QC staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
- Manage customer feedback and provide timely responses to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
- At least 5 years of experience in a quality control role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in handle region project is added advantages
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 quality control procedures and standards.
- Certified Internal Quality Auditor (ISO 9001:2015).
- Great attention to detail and a result-driven approach.
