Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough testing of mobile and web applications to ensure smooth functionality, performance, and compatibility across various platforms.
- Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and automated scripts.
- Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve defects.
- Perform regression, functional, and usability testing.
- Ensure that applications comply with industry standards, security protocols, and regulatory guidelines.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into testing procedures.
- Provide detailed documentation of test results and report bugs/issues for resolution.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Assist in planning and coordinating testing activities within the project lifecycle.
- Work closely with project managers to define testing scope, objectives, and timelines.
- Monitor and track project progress, identifying risks and providing mitigation strategies related to quality assurance.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and product owners, to ensure alignment on project goals and quality standards.
- Contribute to the development of project plans and schedules, ensuring QA deliverables are met on time.
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a QA Tester, preferably in mobile/web application environments.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, TestRail).
- Solid understanding of mobile app ecosystems (iOS/Android) and web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team.
- Experience working in the financial industry or with financial applications (e.g., banking, insurance, fintech).
- Basic project management skills or experience, including familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, ClickUp, Trello).
