About the Client:
Our client is a reputed IT Services Company
Responsibilities:
- Build, install, configure, and maintain Red Hat Linux systems.
- Conduct advanced troubleshooting and performance tuning.
- Implement capacity management and preventive/proactive support measures.
- Manage incident, change, and problem management processes.
- Manage and operate VMware vSphere IT infrastructure, including VM provisioning, configuration, resizing, and maintenance.
- Provide system administration support for development teams, assisting with application configuration tasks.
- Support post-build activities, including system hardening and resource extension.
Requirements:
- Minimum 6+ years of extensive experience in Red Hat Enterprise Linux administration.
- Intensive experience in building RHEL for JBOSS, WebSphere, WebLogic, and Oracle DB with VCS clustering
- Familiarity with patching tools such as BladeLogic and BigFix.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, and Chef.
- Proficient in shell scripting.
- Familiarity with Jira, Bitbucket, and Jenkins pipelines.
- Knowledge of large data center operations.
- Hands-on experience supporting infrastructure agents (e.g., NetBackup, BMC Patrol) at a mid-level.
