Supplier Quality Engineer II
Work Location: Yishun Industrial Park A (Have company transport)
Salary: $4000 to $4500 depends on experience
Working Days: 5 Days // 8am/8.30am - 5.30pm/6pm
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma with minimum 5years experience in Mechanical
- Must be from mechanical engineering background
- Preferably one or two process knowledge such as machining, sheet metal, plastics, and Moulding process
- Familiar with advanced GD&T + Auditing skill
- Calibration of simple tools and familiar with calibration standards
- Metrology skill that includes hands on experience in CMM, Smart scope (CMM knowledge is a must, preferably Zeiss CMM)
- Able to travel to JB for supplier visit or to our factory, when required
- Plastic injection molding knowledge is preferred
Job scope
- CMM Programming and training the other site Engineer and technicians
- Manage supplier part qualification process (SPQP) to ensure the quality of the delivery from supplier to comply to the processes.
- Complaint management that includes preliminary failure analysis, containment coordination, disposition coordination with supplier, RTV arrangement, follow up on 8D, and repair order delivery.
- Perform audits at supplier site for NPI pilot production process qualification, 8D implementation.
- Perform first article inspection at supplier site to ensure supplier have the measurement capability in terms of equipment and supplier technicians have the skill set required.
- Develop inspection plan/instruction for incoming inspection. ISO 8015 expert, conduct training to supplier on the common GD&T tools.
- Calibration management to ensure the equipment calibrated on schedule and also advance planning for measurement equipment for NPI parts.
