The Finance Director, with her/his team, is responsible for all finance-related topics concerning L Beauty entities, operating Perfumes & Cosmetics brands in the South East Asia Region:
- Business controlling (Budget and forecast)
- Compliance (Audit & Tax) and Internal Control
- Accounting / Closing / Reporting
- Cash & Credit Management
- Improvement Projects (Harmonisation & Efficiency)
This person will manage a team of 6 Regional Business Controllers (1 per brand), 1 regional Finance Manager in charge of finance operation, 1 treasurer, and 1 reporting assistant based in Singapore. She/He will report to LFCS CFO.
MAIN ROLES & RESPONSABILITIES
COMPLIANCE
Ensure LBeauty legal & statutory frame is adequate and well managed locally by the teams, notably:
- Making sure financial statements are prepared on time and do not imply audit adjustment
- Support the Local teams in their relationship with auditors
- Ensure that taxes are properly calculated and reported to authorities
- Support local and regional team in the interco price list preparation as well as the yearly MCB implementation
- Assist, if needed, the local manager in relation with Tax agent, Tax officers and LVMH Tax team
- Support Internal Control deployment by monitoring and assessing the SOPs describing in detail the key financial processes of the company
ACCOUNTING / CLOSING / REPORTING
Organize and review Accounting & Financial reporting, notably:
- Ensure that actuals are reported accurately, and on-time
- Ensure that all schedules and key accounting documents are reviewed by the local
- Support to resolve any ambiguity on financial elements with concerned teams
- Monitor finance operations (GL, AR and AP) with regards to the SOPs and KPIs in place
- Review, at least, quarterly local balance sheet to ensure accounting records are in accordance with the local and regional standards
TREASURY
- Follow-up on working capital needs (manage payments / collect receivables)
- Monitor and improve credit control (AR collection as well as COFACE coverage)
IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS
Lead projects to improve process efficiency, automation and reliability of the finance operation, notably:
- Look and monitor the process harmonization/standardization across the location and brands
- Continually seek to improve processing efficiency and capabilities
- Hold regular meetings to streamline processes and seek improvements
- Drive harmonization and efficiency projects with the local teams
- Monitor systems optimization and roll-out
PROFILE
- Master's degree with 8-10 years of experience in related field or Bachelor's degree in Accounting/ACCA
- Preferably with MNC experience
- Preferably someone that has working experience from similar industry background
