Job Profile:
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, the incumbent will be involved in supporting the day-to-day accounting and finance functions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the daily accounting and finance duties.
- Performing cash management and bank reconciliation for company bank accounts.
- Ensuring timely and accurate preparation of monthly reports, schedules and reconciliation.
- Preparation and submission of quarterly GST returns.
- Involved in half-yearly stock take and annual external audit.
- Supporting the Finance Manager with projects and tasks as required.
- Other ad hoc duties as assigned by the Finance Manager.
Job Specification:
- Possesses at least a Diploma in Accounting and Finance or equivalent (e.g. LCCI).
- Minimally with 2 to 3 years of relevant working experience.
- Good understanding of accounting standards and tax requirements.
- Possesses integrity and ability to maintain confidential information.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and a proactive team player.
- High degree of accuracy and efficiency.
- Proficiency in MS Office and SAP accounting system, is preferred.
