Tasks & responsibilities
- Responsible for the maintenance of full set of accounts (AP/AR/GL) in the organization.
- Preparation of monthly financial reporting to local and Corporate HQ on a timely basis.
- Manage all accounting and finance matters on daily operations (transaction data entries, cashflow, payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable and staff claim reimbursements etc).
- Ensure accurate cost allocations to respective categories and projects.
- Responsible for stock take and inventory reports and reconciliations.
- Review and ensure accurate and timely submission for GST Returns and Corporate Tax.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agent and CoSec and bankers for all financial & accounting matters.
- Liaise with local authorities on Tax / Government Grants matters.
- Able to multi-tasks and assist in other duties as and when assigned by the Executive Director.
Qualifications & experience
- Degree in Accountancy or its equivalent.
- At least 5 years of solid working experience in a similar role, with strong hands-on experience in managing full sets of accounts; prior experience in SMEs or manufacturing companies preferred.
- Familiar with Quickbook and good knowledge of MS Excel VBA is an advantage.
- Works well independently, well organized, problem solving skills and managing multiple tasks.
- Immediate availability or short notice period will be prefferred.
