Our client is a Oil & Gas Industry. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Senior Electrical Technician to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the West.
Job Responsibilities:
- Apply functional requirements and use engineering tools to design electronic circuits or control systems for product changes or new development under direct supervision.
- Utilize software tools or applications to analyze and test electronic circuits or systems, documenting performance against design criteria.
- Identify testing objectives at a component level following Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) procedures, and evaluate test results.
- Assist in preparing component specifications and follow established work processes to document designs.
- Collaborate in preparing materials for design reviews.
- Work with mentors to understand the process of submitting invention disclosures and recognize ideas with potential intellectual property (IP) value.
- Communicate effectively as a team member to contribute innovative solutions.
- Demonstrate initiative by exceeding expectations and paying close attention to detail, ensuring work is completed accurately and to the highest standards.
- Design, simulate, and implement high-temperature electronic systems, including component selection, qualification, and PCB assembly.
- Conduct functional and qualification testing of designed PCB boards and sub-assemblies.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations to document and communicate results.
Job Requirements:
- Skills acquired through completion of an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
