.Net Test Engineer | 9 Mths Contract | Up to $6000 | 5 Days | Yio Chu Kang
Working Location: AMK@Link (Yio Chu Kang MRT)
Working hours: 8.30am to 6.15pm, 5-days week
Salary Range: $4,000 - $6,000 + AWS + VB
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement test strategies, test plans, test cases, and test scripts for .NET applications.
- Design and execute automated tests using frameworks such as MSTest, NUnit, xUnit.net, or SpecFlow.
- Perform manual testing as necessary, including functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Identify, record, document, and track bugs to resolution using tools like Azure DevOps, JIRA, or similar.
- Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on code quality from a testing perspective.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in C# programming language and .NET frameworks (e.g., ASP.NET Core, MVC).
- Experience with testing frameworks and tools such as MSTest, NUnit, xUnit.net, SpecFlow, Selenium WebDriver, or similar.
- Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman, Swagger, or SoapUI.
- Knowledge of database testing techniques and ability to write SQL queries for data validation.
- Understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and working in Agile teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB Certified Tester) are advantageous.
- Proven experience as a Test Engineer or Quality Assurance Engineer, specifically in testing .NET applications.
