Roles & Responsibilities:
- Scope includes ensuring outsourced Facilities Management Service Providers (FMSP) are effective in the scheduled preventative maintenance, pest control, cleaning service, horticulture, security management.
- Supervise, plan & organize a team of outsourced FMSP in carrying out planned and ad hoc maintenance and their work routines.
- Verify scheduled preventive work done and monitor the follow-up when required, to ensure all systems are always in serviceable / operational condition.
- Manage incidents and closure. Ensure FMSP attend to any breakdowns in services such as, but not limited to, air-con failure, power trips or blockages promptly.
- Provide inputs and guidance in facility, process, and/or equipment design reviews for safety & environmental considerations.
- Investigate, check, and analyze reported breakdowns and faults to determine their cause for the prevention of future occurrences.
- Partner with EHS to engage Singapore government agencies on chemicals permits and licenses application and renewal.
- Support Ops-related coordination of center’s activities/events in accordance with Abbott policies and procedures.
- Develop, implement and/or maintenance of R&D site’s standard operating procedures.
Major Responsibilities:
- Interact with local authorities e.g. National Environment Agency, Singapore Civil Defense Force, Singapore Police Force all Permits and Licenses application and renewal for Product Development labs.
- Assist in planning and managing resources (including facilities) and processes to ensure smooth running of ANRD operations.
- Provide assistance in the asset disposal process.
- Coordinate with outsourced FMSP to facilitate routine checks and scheduled preventive maintenance of key installations such as UPS, electrical panels etc.
- Ensure all work being executed in a safe manner and all relevant risk assessment are performed.
- Follow up on all relevant rectification work related to issues related to Facilities.
- Perform covering duty during the absence of Administrator.
Requirements:
- Min Diploma in Facility Management/Building Services, Property, Estate Management with 3 years of relevant experience in facilities management operations.
- Ability to communicate clearly with employees at all levels.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional team.
- 3 – 5 years of relevant experience in an Operation and/or Facility Management capacity in a large-scale manufacturing operation or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Hands-on experience in interfacing between functional departments and external parties / government bodies
- Possess a valid FSM certificate preferred
