Our client a well-known investment firm is hiring for a senior Executive in Private & Alternative Operations for a 6-month maternity cover:
This role will support our Alternative business capability:
- Provide financial and operational support for new and ongoing investments.
- Manage end-to-end transaction processes, including cash reconciliation and timely trade settlements.
- Collaborate on new business initiatives, such as fund launches, offering financial and operational insights.
- Prepare and review reports for accounting, finance, and management; present at Board and Investment Committee meetings.
- Oversee tax and compliance reporting (FATCA, CRS).
- Liaise with stakeholders and manage service providers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Accountancy, Business or Finance.
- A Chartered Accountant or Chartered Financial Analyst is preferable but not mandatory.
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in a financial institution or asset management industry. Some experience in an Audit Firm (Financial Services), Fund Administrator, and/or Fund Accounting role in a Buy-Side Private / Alternatives Asset Manager with specific experience in either Private Equity, Fund of Funds, and/or Real Estate operations is preferred.
- Experience with Private/alternative assets investment execution, onboarding, review of legal documents, new fund launches, fund liquidations, negotiation, and reviewing of engagement letters/contracts with external service providers.
