Job Summary:
The Deputy Manager plans and oversees multiple interdependent programs spanning several years that impact various business units or larger projects.
This role involves managing all aspects of assigned programs throughout their lifecycle to ensure completion within scope, quality, time, and budget constraints.
The Deputy Manager leads multidisciplinary teams, including personnel, vendors, and clients, to successfully create and deploy programs. With strong communication skills, this individual influences internal and external stakeholders effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development of the program management framework, including templates, tools, and systems for cost, time, and quality metrics.
- Design training programs to promote effective application of the framework across the organization.
- Support upper management in governance through audits and guide Project Managers in adopting the framework appropriately.
- Develop integrated program plans, detailing activities, resource allocation, and cost estimation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to establish consensus on program goals, objectives, and deliverables.
- Review plans to determine time frames, funding limitations, and procedures for project execution.
- Acquire necessary resources, agreements, and technologies.
- Drive programs to meet schedules, budgets, manpower, and technical quality targets.
- Ensure documentation of scope changes, issues, and risks affecting implementation.
- Collaborate with users, technical staff, and management to resolve implementation issues.
- Conduct regular program reviews to recommend schedule changes and resource adjustments.
- Oversee team management, including budgets, forecasting, and staffing allocations.
- Mentor and coach staff, facilitating ongoing career development discussions.
- Define common goals and accountability among team members.
- Drive effective performance management practices in alignment with organizational policies.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in Outsystems.
- Ability to guide developers in applying best practices for application development in Outsystems.
