Roles & Responsibilities
- Shipping experience prefer
- Handling of day to day accounting work
- Responsible for preparation and closing of monthly and annual financial statements
- Checking of AR receivable against collection
- Perform basic book keeping duties including AR, AP & GL
- Data entry of transactions into accounting system
- Ensuring timely completion of month-end closing
- Monthly reconciliation including inter-company reconciliation
- Prepare audit schedules and audit matters
- Maintain proper filling and records
- Prepare quarterly GST return
- Coordinate and liaise with external parties like external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, local tax and government authorities, Banker where required
- Prepare comprehensive group consolidation reports ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Manage the consolidation process efficiently.
- Review management reports from subsidiaries to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Payroll of crews
- Any ad hoc assignment when required
