Working Days: 5.5 Days
Working Hours: 0800am – 5.30pm
Overtime: Able to commit overtime depending on operational requirement
Location: 50 International Road (Nestle Singapore)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise the loading, off-loading of goods from shipping containers and stacking of the goods in the receiving and dispatching area.
- Tally all goods and match them with shipping labels and packing orders to ensure the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Ensure that goods loaded are clean and in good condition.
- Ensure that goods loaded into shipping containers are safely secured to prevent damages during transportation.
- Make appropriate remarks on the tally sheet when differences are observed between consigned and received quantities.
- Report any anomalies or damaged goods.
- Undertake re-packing, reconstitution, and segregation of damaged goods.
- Ensure and implement 5S. Observe warehouse housekeeping & safety measures.
- Perform consumable items inventory checks.
- Monitor casual workers to avoid or reduce pilferage.
- Any ad hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and timely reporting.
- Skilled in managing a high volume of items in a well-organized manner, even under tight deadlines.
- Proficient in maintaining accurate and precise records.
- Capable of identifying and escalating shipment discrepancies to ensure smooth operations.
- A forklift license will be an added advantage.
