Job Summary
The is a 6-months contract HR Generalist, individual contributor role reporting to the HR Leader, Asia Pacific & Middle-East and is responsible for providing the full spectrum of HR operational support for the Regional Office in Singapore. This role will also be required to proactively support and execute any Group HR initiatives, projects (People Digitalization and Transformation as one of the key projects)and reporting.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Local HR Operational Responsibilities:
- Provide support for the day to day HR Operations for the Regional Office.
- Guide managers and employees on all HR employment practices and policies.
- Create and update employee records and manage data and reports in the HRIS (Workday) on a timely basis.
- Manage end-to-end employees' on-boarding and off-boarding processes.
- End-to-end recruitment coordination as required.
- Assist with compensation benchmarking and salary proposals for new hires or internal moves.
- Work with payroll vendor to ensure accuracy in monthly payroll processing.
- Act as a point of contact for all HR benefits and administration issues relating to the employees in the Regional Office.
- Provide support on any ad-hoc office admin tasks assigned.
Regional HR Support Responsibilities:
- Consolidation and review of annual budget, merit increase and bonus exercise submitted by in-country HR.
- Support and facilitate annual Performance Appraisal process across APAC
- Act regional HRIS Subject Matter Expert to provide 1st level technical support to in-country HR leads for Workday-related matters and work with Global HRIS team for data audit and system enhancements.
- Contribute to ad-hoc queries, reporting and projects as required.
Core Competencies and Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification in Business or HR discipline
Work Experience
- At least 3-5 years of relevant HR experience preferred but fresh HR graduates with relevant educational background backed can be considered.
- Familiar with Workday as a user.
- Well versed in local employment laws and legislation.
- Proficient in Microsoft office (i.e. Word, Excel, PPT).
- Good communication skills.
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced, dynamic and ever-changing environment.
- Resourceful self-starter with creative problem-solving skill.
