Job Title: Solution Architect - Credit Origination
Our client is one of the leading global banks. As part of the process driving digital transformation, working to provide cutting-edge solutions in the financial industry. Their team is focused on building advanced technology platforms, including credit origination systems, leveraging cloud and microservices architecture. They are seeking a skilled and motivated Solution Architect to join our dynamic team to lead the development and optimisation of our credit origination platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with agile squads to drive architectural strategies and align solution designs with business objectives.
- Lead containerisation, cloud, and digital transformation initiatives within agile pods.
- Develop and maintain architecture roadmaps specifically for credit origination platforms.
- Present and articulate key solution elements, highlighting system impacts and ensuring alignment with upstream/downstream systems.
- Communicate benefits and trade-offs of proposed solutions to senior stakeholders.
- Assess solutions for adherence to architecture principles and long-term technology roadmaps.
- Collaborate with internal and external technology partners to assess project scope and develop solution options.
- Provide cost-effective architecture solutions that align with business needs and architectural principles.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of system designs and best practices.
- Present solution designs to technology governance committees for project approval.

- Configuration Management: Zookeeper, Etcd, Spring, Puppet/Chef, Ansible
- Continuous Integration: Maven, Jenkins
- Continuous Deployment: Jenkins, Nolio, Go
- Assembly Development: Apache Camel, Node.js
- UI Development: Node.js, React, AngularJS, Backbone
- IDL Definition: RAML, Swagger
- IDE for Code Development: Eclipse, IntelliJ
- Web APIs: For Information Exchange
- Collaboration Tools: GitHub, JIRA
Microservices and Database Expertise:
- Experience and knowledge in Microservices Architecture.
- Strong proficiency in Oracle or SQL Server PL/SQL development and data modelling.
- Familiarity with Web services, API design, and defining specifications using Swagger/RAML.
- Experience with automated test configuration and continuous build tools like Maven, and SonarQube.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Kubernetes is a plus.
Qualifications:
- Strong experience in solution architecture for credit origination or similar financial platforms.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for explaining architectural decisions to stakeholders.
- Proven experience with cloud-based platforms, container management, and microservices architecture.
- Ability to lead technology-driven discussions and align strategies with business objectives.
- Familiarity with modern DevOps and agile methodologies is preferred.
