The main objective of this role is to perform mechanical maintenance and condition monitoring activities on rotating equipment
Main responsibilities:
· Compliance with requirements of the Safety Management System
· Perform planned and corrective maintenance of plant and equipment as assigned.
· Responsible to notify offshore management immediately on the detection of abnormal instrument readings or failure symptoms detected on critical equipment. Safely and efficiently carry out assigned maintenance tasks within agreed scope of authority and within competence level on all items of equipment within discipline and identify cost effective improvements to these tasks that will enhance safety and/or reliability performance
· Maintain a good working environment in all working areas and ensure good housekeeping and safe working conditions
· Liaise with other departments for coordination of maintenance activities
· Responsible to provide clear and concise daily work logs that have occurred during the shift and give a comprehensive handover to back-to-backs of all events and information relevant to time on duty. This will include an update on all changes in plant conditions, changes and additions to standing and daily instructions and, as required, the status of work permits within assigned area. Handovers are regarded as critical to the safe operation of the FPSO systems and equipment.
· Liaise with other departments for coordination of maintenance activities
· Participate in the emergency preparedness drills, the safety meetings, and on the job training.
· Perform Emergency Duties as required by the Emergency Response Plan
