OVERVIEW
The position will support the General Manager on matters relating to legal, business operations, general administration, etc. within the organization.
This position will also support the accounting team and must be familiar with accounting & tax operation, accounting principles & practices and financial statements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Administration
- Support for the expatriate team.
- Management of contract-related matters.
- Organize meetings such as Board of Directors / Shareholders' meetings
- Oversee and manage all administrative functions within the organisation.
Billing
- Issuance of monthly invoices.
- Collection and analysis of data for billing purposes.
- Coordinate and liaise with relevant parties
Finance & Accounting
- Support the accounting team on financial tasks i.e. AP / AR matters, etc.
- Support in audit includes liaise and coordinate with audit firms.
- Maintenance of internal controls.
Taxation
- ·Support accounting team on tax-related matters
Legal
· Manage vendor relationships and contracts with outsource company / agency
· Dispute resolution
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in General Affairs, Finance & Accounting and Taxation
- Experience with SAP
- Ability to converse in Japanese is essential
- Experience in logistics industry will be an added advantage
