Responsibilities:
1. Process purchase orders and checking on invoices
2. Get delivery date confirmation from suppliers on PO issue
3. Ensure timely procurement and monitor backlog to ensure Just-In-Time delivery
4. Monitor, expedite delivery schedules of supplier
5. Analyze and keep inventory to optimum level
6. Liaise with forwarder on the shipment schedule
7. Manage and handle special price request by the customer
8. Ensure accurate information on terms and price are maintained in the database
9. Good analytical and problem-solving skills, taking ownership of issues and having the determination to follow things through
10. Any ad-hoc duties assigned by superior
Requirements:
1. Candidate must possess at least O levels/ Diploma qualification
2. Minimum 3 years of working experience in planning or purchasing functions
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel
4. Strong communication, verbal/written and interpersonal skills.
5. Committed, meticulous and good team player
6. Pleasant and mature personality
7. Able to work independently within tight timelines
8. 5 days work week
