Job Purpose
The Private Bank Relationship Manager plays a key role in client relationship management, which involves client acquisition, providing personal wealth advisory, and ongoing servicing of affluent High Net Worth clients which will include Accredited Investors. He/she will also be responsible for the acquisition and servicing of corporate accounts.
Advise clients on their personal/institutional financial objectives by analysing their financial situation, recommend suitable in-house financial solutions, execute client instructions, address queries regarding their existing banking and financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities
1. HNW/UNHW Portfolio Management
- Identify existing branch customers who meet Preferred program criteria and flag them on the system to upgrade these customers under the program.
- Onboarding new customers who meet product criteria within the regulatory framework.
- Regularly interact with the customer to build rapport and understand the profile.
- Achieving MTD and YTD Revenue Targets.
- Enhance the value/book size of the given portfolio.
- Achieving Top Line targets for various wealth products/ structures.
2. Corporate Accounts
- Oversee client acceptance and on-boarding procedures (such as conducting due diligence and reviewing documentation requirements).
- Explore opportunities and recommend strategies for cross selling of products and services based on thorough understanding of the range of corporate banking products and services, and various client analysis.
- Support trade finance offerings
3. Operations, Marketing & Processes
- Update CRM with Purpose of Call, Discussion Happened, Outcome of call and next follow up date
- Update any Event Based Triggers (EBTs)
- Update any portfolio client related process like LTR etc
- Handling Service Request for NR HNW clients
- Ensure certification of documentation required for opening and maintaining customer accounts
- Follow all NR Desk related processes (like Day Plan, Fee Plan and any other that may be notified from time to time)
4. Product Penetration & contribution towards focused product
- Ensure that an optimal level of Income generating Product Group Holding (IPGH) is reached.
- Enhance client's CTG level and ensure that the Customer Group profitability is achieved.
5. Customer Service
- Customer Services: Ensure quality customer service is delivered. All customer queries and complaints to be resolved the same day. Ensure the customer is informed about any regulatory or process change. Keep the customer updated on program features.
- Complaint Management: To ensure all queries and complaints are resolved within the bank specified TAT.
Key Skills
- Proven track record in Wealth Management covering local & offshore markets.
- Strong understanding of balance sheet analysis, financial management and trade finance products.
- Strong track record of client acquisition and revenue generation.
- Experience in handling of HNW/UHNW customers who will be Accredited Investors.
- Experience in corporate account management and product suite.
- Sound knowledge of Wealth Management products.
- Strong network of client referral channels.
- Good understanding of local compliance and regulatory requirements.
Educational Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with MBA/ Chartered Accountant
Experience Required
Minimum 10+ years experience in Wealth Management/ Corporate Banking/ Institutional Sales products
