2. Job Description.
The Assistant Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring a high standard of customer service, quality, and efficiency. This role involves managing staff, coordinating daily operations, maintaining inventory, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and working towards achieving financial goals.
3. Roles & Responsibilities.
1) Monitor employee teamwork and guest satisfaction on a daily basis.
2) Ensure overall store image is maintained and the brand is well represented at all times.
3) Manage service manpower planning, including planning on weekly duty roster to ensure optimum use of manpower.
4) Supervise all service functions and operations in the outlet.
5) Train, guide and motivate service staff.
6) Communicate daily and act as liaison between staff and superiors.
7) Responsible for daily opening and closing duties in the outlet and ensure proper execution.
8) Perform stock inventory.
9) Handling of daily sales transactions and cash float.
10) Ensure overall outlet cleanliness and housekeeping.
11) Administer all paperwork effectively.
12) Assist Outlet Manager in the execution of his/her duties and takes over some of the routine tasks during his/her absence.
13) Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in F& B restaurants or similar.
14) Passionate in Customer Service & F&B.
15) Willing to perform shifts work and work on weekends and public holidays.
4. Requirements.
1) At least 3 - 5 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager preferably in a Japanese restaurant
2) Possess Hygiene certificate
3) Prior experience managing around 10 staffs and above
4) Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
5) Proficient in Japanese language will be advantageous in order to liaise with Japanese management & customers
