Job Description
- Industry/ Organization Type: Manufacturing
- Position Title: Mechanic (Marine/Electrical)
- Working Location: Islandwide (Company transport provided at Jurong area)
- Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm, Saturday 8 am – 12 pm
- Salary Package: Basic + Housing Allowance + AWS + Performance Bonus + OT
- Duration: Permanent Role
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to the shipyard or docking area where the vessel is located.
- Test the performance of marine engines and electrical systems.
- Overhaul and troubleshoot main engines and generators.
- Complete service records and repair documents, maintaining paperwork such as timesheets, service reports, and parts returns in a timely manner.
- Follow service manual instructions for all repair procedures.
- Finish service jobs efficiently within the standard job hour guidelines.
- Keep work areas clean and tidy at all times.
- Perform in-house and on-site calibration.
- Other ad hoc duties as assigned.

- Min Nitec / Diploma in relevant fields.
- Proven work experience as a marine mechanic.
- Ability to work in the engine room onboard vessels.
- Ability to work offshore.
- Follow all safety standards and practices while working in the workshop and on-site.
- Communicate technical information effectively to service staff and customers.
