Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive items from vendors, enter data into systems, verify against purchase orders, and check expiry dates and batch numbers.
  • Verify goods receiving documents to maintain accurate inventory data in the ERP/SAP system.
  • Address inquiries related to goods receipt promptly and coordinate with end users for necessary documentation completion.
  • Monitor and evaluate vendor performance in the receiving process and delivery.
  • Assist in planning and maintaining an efficient warehouse layout to optimize storage space.
  • Conduct inventory labelling procedures accurately.
  • Implement effective policies, procedures, and internal controls for store operations to ensure efficiency.
  • Supervise storekeepers to ensure stock levels align with established Minimum Quantity Levels (MQL) and provide inventory accounting and analysis reports.
  • Involve in stock count activities as and when required.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or equivalent, with relevant store keeping experience
  • Has experience in leading a team
  • Has experience with data analytics, planning and rostering
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic excel and inventory software and systems experience (eg SAP/WMS)
  • Good physical ability to lift heavy items
