Job Description:
- Take on the role of a project manager or team leader for projects, guiding and supporting new employees as a mentor.
- Collaborate cross-functionally and liaise with external consultant teams, architects, contractors, and suppliers to resolve project issues.
- Work together with engineering partners and government authorities.
- Work with the global R&D team on product improvement and development.
- Develop schematic designs, layouts, calculations, technical reports, and specifications.
- Perform simulations and structural calculations on modular buildings, creating reports using simulation programs (e.g., Solidworks, ANSYS)
- Ensure all work meets the relevant regulations and standards, such as those from the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) and Singapore Standards (SS).
- Perform site inspections and surveys to determine engineering needs and identify areas for improvement.
- Supervise and review the work of engineers in the project team.
- Ensure project adherence to schedules.
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other related fields.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in building projects.
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE) with the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore.
