The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, driving revenue growth, and expanding the company’s market presence. This role requires strategic planning, relationship management, and market analysis.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Strategic Planning & Execution:Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve growth objectives.
    Identify new markets, customer needs, and industry trends.
    Collaborate with senior leadership to align business goals with market opportunities.
  2. Partnership Development:Build and maintain long-term relationships with partners and stakeholders.
    Negotiate and close high-value deals.
    Manage partnerships from inception to execution.
  3. Sales & Revenue Generation:Generate new leads and manage the sales pipeline.
    Lead the development of proposals and presentations.
    Collaborate with the sales team to exceed revenue targets.
  4. Market Research & Analysis:Conduct competitive analysis and market research.
    Analyze market trends and client needs to adapt strategies.
    Provide feedback to the product development team.
  5. Team Leadership & Collaboration:Lead cross-functional teams to execute strategies.
    Mentor junior team members.
    Collaborate with marketing, finance, and product teams.
  6. Client Relationship Management:Maintain and grow relationships with key clients.
    Act as the primary contact for client inquiries and support.
  7. Reporting & Performance Metrics:Monitor KPIs related to business development.
    Provide updates to senior management on activities and pipeline progress.
    Analyze financial data to assess ROI of initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in business development or sales.
  • Proven track record of successful strategies and deal closures.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in CRM software and MS Office.
