Responsibilities
- Support Project Managers and/or Solution Delivery Managers on projects assigned to draft requirements from business departments.
- Understand operations/ business functions and objectives to propose appropriate and efficient solutions.
- Run gap analysis and requirements validation workshops with key internal stakeholders to build up optimized digital processes.
- Conceptualize and Design user friendly user interface/flows.
- Prepare detailed specifications and design documents for business confirmation.
- Ensure detailed specifications comply with internal policies, procedures, standards, and audit requirements.
- Manage scope of work and project schedule together with project team to meet agreed timeline committed to business.
- Collaborate and work closely with projects, vendor, and internal IT teams to ensure processes and documentation are addressed and fulfilled.
- Assists in creation of test cases and verification of requirements during UAT, facilitate and support/perform user’s testing in the UAT phase.
- Perform and ensure successful live verification of system post Go Live
- Support Project team in carrying out post implementation support and complete handover to BAU teams.
Skills / Experience
- Strong business domain knowledge in insurance or related financial industry e.g. (Banking, Fintech etc.)
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in business analysis and/or consulting experience.
- Strong quantitative, analytical, problem solving and process design skills that can translate analysis into solutions that meet business objectives.
- Experienced in supporting techno-functional assessments across functions in insurance. Life and Group insurance experience is preferred.
- Possess strong reasoning skills and able to bridge gaps between technology and business requirements.
- Familiar with change management processes and project management fundamentals
- Strategic forward-thinking approach to challenges with outstanding communications, influencing, negotiating and persuasion skills.
- Proactive, highly self-motivated, result oriented and can work independently with ability to thrive in ambiguity.
- Strong teamwork experience in managing internal stakeholders, end users and vendors.
- Knowledgeable in Web, Mobile technologies, app ecosystems and APIs 11. Well versed in all Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Expertise in JIRA, Confluence and QC tool will be an added advantage.
- Expertise in ID prototyping tools such as Figma will be an added advantage.
