- Implementation of workplace safety, health and environment programs and initiatives
- Implementation of effective Safety Management System, preventive measures well as risk assessment to minimize accidents at the assigned workplace/site
- Conducting training programs on workplace safety and health and inspections to ensure that all staff and/or subcontractors onsite and at HQ abide by policies and standards
- Ensure strict compliance of procedures in statutory workplace, safety, health & environment requirements at sites and required premises
- Enforcement of safety standards in accordance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act
- Assist the company in safety related certifications and awareness such as safety audits, meetings, and executive of safety programs
- Preparation and/or submission of safety reports and necessary audits
- Keeping up-to-date with industry best practices and regulatory changes in safety guidelines
- Registered WSH Officer/Safety Officer with MOM for minimum of 5 years
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience in WSH
- Possess minimum Specialist Diploma in WSH (Level 3) and WSH Officer Certificate
- Excellent people management skills and good interpersonal skills
- Perform other ad hoc duties as and when assigned by the management
