Foreword Coffee operates 8 café locations in Singapore. We also provide a whole range of coffee services such as mobile coffee cart, mini pastries events catering, barista-as-a-service for in-house corporate cafes, custom coffee blends, pantry supplies, and wedding favours.
Job Summary
The Partnerships and Operations Executive is responsible for managing enquiries, supporting sales efforts, and providing operational and administrative support for our workshops, mobile coffee carts and cafes.
This role also involves being hands-on as a barista during events and delivering excellent customer service. It’s an ideal opportunity for someone looking to grow within a dynamic, mission-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Partnerships Support
· Respond to inquiries for events and assist in managing leads
· Maintain relationships with existing clients and partners
· Support the sales team in following up on leads and closing smaller deals for mobile coffee cart services
2. Event Support & Barista Duties
· Assist in preparing and setting up the mobile coffee cart for events
· Act as a barista at events, ensuring high-quality coffee service
· Ensure inventory and equipment for mobile events are managed effectively
3. Customer Service
· Provide excellent customer service to clients and customers at events
· Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, representing Foreword Coffee’s mission and values
· Gather feedback from customers to improve service delivery.
4. Administrative Support
· Assist with basic backend tasks such as data entry, stock ordering, and report compilation
· Provide general operational support for the cafes, such as updating inventory records
Requirements:
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Customer service-oriented with a passion for coffee and social impact.
- Ability to multitask and support events.
- Prior barista experience is a plus, but training will be provided.
- Basic organizational and administrative skills.
- Flexibility to work on weekends or evenings during events.
- Patient and open to work with people with disabilities
