As an Analyst in the Prime Financial Services Account Management team, you will service institutional clients in Asia excluding Australia & New Zealand, Japan and Korea. The scope of products covered includes F&O Clearing, OTC Clearing (IRS, CDS and FX Clearing) and FX Prime Brokerage.
Leveraging on your in-depth product and industry knowledge, you will be expected to be in the forefront of clients to drive solutions and provide value added services to provide first class service to clients.
Job Responsibilities
• Understand client’s structure, trading strategy, operational model and servicing needs.
• Manages the client relationship from a day-to-day perspective in partnership with the internal stakeholders within the firm.
• Accountable for client’s satisfaction with the overall level of service provided.
• Proactively share with clients the latest industry and regulatory developments
• Drive regular client review meetings, taking every opportunity to secure feedback to constantly improve our level of service and deliver first class service to clients.
• Understand client’s risk profile and wallet, constantly seek opportunities to drive organic growth.
• Partner with clients to assess their front-to-back processes and raise opportunities to improve efficiency.
• Represent and articulate key client requests in internal forums.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to propose commercial terms that takes into account of our capital cost, ensuring that the business is profitable for the firm.
• Monitor client profitability and revenue trends to identify any abnormalities in the client trading pattern or relationship early on.
• Assess the reward or risk trade-off when making business decisions to ensure that it is sound and does not affect the firm’s reputation.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
• Bachelor degree or equivalent
• Experience in F&O Clearing, OTC Clearing and FX Prime Brokerage industry with at least 1 year of industry experience.
• Strong understanding of the regulatory and risk environment impacting the business.
• Exceptional client management skills to represent the firm and build long-standing client relationships.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with confidence to handle external client meetings.
• Analytical with the ability to breakdown problems and seek innovative solutions to client’s needs.
• Strong relationship building, management and influencing skills.
• Commercially astute, able to identify organic growth opportunities and follow through.
• Self-motivated to stay updated with the global market developments and the ever-changing client needs.
