Responsibilities:

• Manage full sets of accounts including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and General Ledger (GL).
• Conduct month-end closing activities along with the preparation of financial and management reports.
• Prepare and review financial statements to ensure compliance and accuracy.

Requirements:

• Overall Function: We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Temporary Finance Executive to join our Finance team on a 5-month contract. The successful candidate will support various finance functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management, as well as support project implementation for ERP upgrading. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in finance looking to contribute to a dynamic team on a temporary basis.

Major Responsibilities:

• Finance Functions: Support AP/AR & GL transactional processes and ensure accurate record-keeping.

Carta expanded to Singapore in 2021, and we are building a world-class team to support the startup and venture capital ecosystem across Asia Pacific. The Singapore team is lean and agile, comprising of local venture industry experts and ambitious self-starters who are passionate to join/learn the industry.

You will be part of a highly dynamic and diverse group of people who are responsible for every aspect of Carta’s growth across Asia. Job Responsibilities:

Finance

• To assist in the accounting functions for the group of companies in APAC (Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong).
• Handle AR Function, including data entry, send SOA and payment reminder to customer.
• Handle AP Function, including data entry, perform 3-way match of vendor invoice, process payment and perform AP reconciliation with vendor SOA.
• Prepare expenses claim for CEO.
• Process staff expenses claim.
• Record PO issued to supplier in the accounting system.
• Support periodic physical stock check and fixed assets sighting.
• Support year-end audit.
• Maintain good documentation and filing system.
• Participate in ERP system migration exercise.
• Any ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Admin

• Office administration (e.g. handle incoming phone calls & mails, welcome visitors, name-card printing, take care of office facilities/ pantry/ stationery).
• Support sales admin and HR activities.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Accountancy/ Finance or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant hands-on experience.
