The Senior FP&A and Accounting Manager, Asia reports to Sr Director of Finance, Asia.

This role will oversee Asia FP&A and Accounting teams and be responsible for leading

and scaling the people, processes, and systems that grow the insights and support that

finance provides to Asia business operations.

Responsibilities

• Be the Asia regional level FP&A lead in the ACV, CARR, and other key top-line metrics planning and forecasting for Asia businesses in connection with the annual planning and quarterly forecasting processes, including GM scorecards, product and market analytics, monthly service forecast reviews, service profitability analysis and service variable comp prep.
• Work with Sr. Director of Finance Asia to drive scalable and consistent processes to enable operational excellence in business planning, forecasting, reporting, and deep insights/analytics for Sales and Strategy
• Be the key contributor in Global FP&A BI initiatives, includes: Alteryx work flow expansion, working side by side with US FP&A BI lead to design and build key data structure in NetSuite and Databricks and deliver top 5 key business reports in Tableau in real-time by the end of FY24.
• Maintain and develop (as needed) technical accounting policy, procedures, and internal controls in accordance with US GAAP and SOX
• Quality review of the work of accounting supervisor an Sr. GL accounts in month-end, quarter-end and year-end accounting closes.
• Ensure quality, accurate and timely financial reporting for local statutory audits and direct and indirect tax filings.
• Develop and manage a team of 8 financial accountants and analysts located in Shanghai and Tokyo

Requirements

• 10+ years experience in an Sr. Accounting and FP&A role in multinational companies in SaaS sector.
• Master’s degree or equivalent in accounting, economics/finance-related majors
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and China GAAP
• Strong analytical skills combined with the ability to communicate clearly and succinctly in presentations to multiple levels in an organization.

Business Insights/Decision Support/Communication

• Manage end-to-end supply chain accounting flow across (client's) trading entities, this includes responsive exception management to ensure reporting accuracy and control compliance.

• At least 8 years of relevant accounting experiences, in large MNCs with Supply Chain Operations Accounting covering Inventory and Intercompany processes, controls and legal entity reporting.

• Good Knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS and SOX is necessary.

Support in the divisions' risk and controls assessment exercises, as well as quarterly internal controls for financial reporting controls assessments Support the assurance initiatives under the First Line of Defense to uplift the technology and cyber controls landscape for the Company Information Security & Technology Risk Metrics Support the alignment of various information security and technology risk metrics for management reporting and escalation - this includes reporting/escalation of outstanding or overdue action required from penetration tests, vulnerability assessments, security incidents, policy/standards deviations, third party security assessments, etc. Review and assess collated metrics and material for consistency checks and trends Policy, Standards and Exception Management Communicate material changes to internal policies/standards to stakeholders Facilitate risk evaluations and exception handling to deviations from the policies, standards and regulatory requirements Risk & Compliance Initiatives Assist in enterprise-wide risk and compliance coordination for Technology division, where applicable This is an individual contributor role, with opportunities for lateral development within the function.
