(C) Minimum Qualifications/ Job Experience:

• Attended the DFS for Professional Course and passed the assessment, or equivalent, and either:

i) Be a registered PE or Architect with a Practicing Certificate

or

ii) Have 10 years relevant experience in the design (at least 5 years in design which includes contributions to designs, writing specifications) and the supervision of the construction of structures.

• Have a degree accepted by Professional Engineers Board (PEB) or Board of Architects and construction related degree accepted by Singapore Institute of Surveyors and Valuers (SISV) and Society of Project Managers (SPM).
• Reasonable exposure in safety and health for construction especially on transportation infrastructure projects in a similar nature to this Contract.

Responsibilities:

Interior Design:

• Coordinate with Landlord, Contractor, Sales team, Merchandising team, and Marketing team in conceptualizing, designing and space planning of retail pop-out store/counter/kiosk
• Source materials and coordinate with suppliers and contractors for shop fit-out and renovation
• Prepare shop, retail counter, exhibition booth designing, drawings and cutting list
• Inspection of Dry-Lay / Materials and subsequent Follow-Up Presenting mood/material boards, developing layout plan (often using 3D software such as Sketchup), and perspective/detailed drawing for retail spaces
• Developing graphic design artworks using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Create themes and plans, including window and in-store displays, signage and posters

Project:

• Manage and coordinate (a) fit-out of local retail shop and (b) fit-out of counter space
• Planning and development of master plan, A&A plan, M&E plan, etc, and renovation of retail outlet.
• Prepare and submit renovation plan in accordance to local regulation and specific requirement from respective landlord.
• Constant sourcing of fit out contractors and to manage the tender process and handle various trade contractors and suppliers on parallel contract in project execution.
• To arrange and attend site meeting prior to project implementation including coordinating on-site installation work, monitoring and supervising on-site installation, etc
• Liaise on coordinating with related parties (e.g. contractors, suppliers, business partners, landlord, colleagues from other department, etc) on shop fitting progress.
• Ensure and follow through that projects are completed on time, within budget and constantly supervise, control and coordinate works accordingly to project plans to ensure timeliness and high quality.
• Conduct frequent site inspections and meetings to ensure high quality work of the contractor and supplier.
• Perform quality check and proper handover upon completion of project and to follow through on all outstanding matters/defect items.
• Advise Accounts department on progress billing.

Requirements:

• Diploma / certification in any of the following: Architecture, Interior Design, Project/construction management, related building construction/ M&E studies.
• Min two (2) years of experience in project management, preferably in retail industry.
• Familiar with Architectural Drawings.
• Proficiency in AutoCad, Adobe (CS, Photoshop, Illustrator), Corel, SketchUp, 3D Max
• Familiar with carpentry, electrical, renovation works and fit-out works.
• Creative and have interest in changing trends in retail space design
• Experience in managing multiple projects.
• Positive, commitment and “can-do” attitude.

This is a regional accountant role, incumbent will have opportunities to look after a different legal entities in various countries , perform monthly review and support statutory audit.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries from Statutory Entity Reporting Management with explanations referencing local GAAP

• Assist with checklist and reconciliation template. Obtain inputs from BPO Management

• Prepare monthly statutory required for financial statements (US GAAP to local GAAP)

• Assist with the gathering/preparation of transfer pricing documentation

• Support preparation of government statistical reporting

• Support template reviews, tool & GAAP/ legal updates, functionality

• Prepare audit adjusting journal entries as directed by the Statutory Lead

• For issues identified through statutory audits, Investigate root causes, contribute to remediation plan and report the status and timing of open issues

• Prepare and submit pre-audit requests as determined by the external auditor

• Support statutory audit issue identification and draft resolution

• Consolidate tower variance analysis into an entity level view and follow up with BPO Mgmt Team as necessary

• Serve as a partner to business owners of assigned entities and facilitate monthly pre/post close calls

• Produce entity close packages for regions including variance analysis, risk and issues log, and Balance Sheet Aging

• Produce other reports including NRE reporting

• Distribute and analyze results of customer satisfaction survey

• Prepare Director’s Pack prior to obtaining signatures

• Manage Pension accounting. Non-Material plans are not evaluated or reviewed by the Corporate team, but are required for US GAAP and Local GAAP accounting

• Manage Intangible accounting. Local accounting teams need to monitor compliance with US GAAP and Local GAAP policies. Assets should be monitored for impairment testing based on both US GAAP and Local GAAP rules

• Provide support for internal audit and external audit and Auditor’s queries

• To support implementation of process improvement projects to new/existing processes

Requirement for the position:

• You should have experience as preparer/hands on role for audit, variance analysis/proficiency in Excel (Pivot Table, handling massive data)
• Global experience is plus but not a must
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Accountancy
• Possesses at least 2 years relevant experience in accounting as Journal, month-end review, statutory/annual audit and/or with internal audit or public accounting in any industries
