Job Description

1. Manage and lead a team of draftsman/BIM modellers for a D&B project.
2. Plays a key role of coordination between onshore team and offshore team.
3. Coordinate with structural team and architectural team to ensure the final design is in-line with architect’s design intents and client’s requirements.
4. Ensure the M&E designs comply with relevant codes compliances and regulations.
5. Review & verify consultants design drawings and translate them into shop drawings
6. Monitor the schedule of design processes and submission of shop drawings according to Master Program
7. Supervise draftsmen and check M&E shop drawings for construction
8. Assist draftsmen to amend shop drawings during peak time to make sure that quality drawings are issued for construction on time
9. Assist and supervise the preparation of M&E coordination and shop drawings for the project to be used on site for production
10. Disseminate MEP information to other design teams for overall design coordination
11. Identify and mitigate risks related to M&E design issue during project execution.
12. Maintain accurate documentation of design changes, approvals, and project communications
13. Any other ad-hoc duties and tasks as may be assigned

Job Requirements

1. Diploma/Degree holder in M&E, Specialist Diploma in M&E Coordinator or equivalent
2. Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience as M&E coordinator role. With experience in PPVC D&B projects is a plus
3. Knowledgeable in Singapore Code of Practices, regulations, and specifications for the construction industry
4. Skill in Autocad & Revit

Work Permit only for Foreign applicant with SEC (K) Certificate.

Duties shall include:

(a) Strategically plan and prepare reports and schedules, so as to ensure that the site has adequate resources to complete the tasks.

(b) Oversee and manage construction activities at the site, ensuring adherence to project specifications, codes and safety regulations.

(c) Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues and ensure compliance with engineering and design requirements.

(d) Collaborate closely with project managers, architects and subcontractors to ensure timely project completion.

(e) Analyze and interpret engineering plans, aerial photography, blueprints, topographical & geologic data and technical drawings to plan and execute construction activities.

(f) Coordinate the procurement and delivery of construction materials, ensuring their compliance with industry standards.

(g) Identifying potential risks and implementing preventive measures to minimize project delays, cost overruns and safety hazards.

(h) Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, site diaries, change orders and quality control measures.

Attend meeting with clients at site and to prepare drawings, AUTOCAD & other program accordingly to specifications and requirements, and submit the technical details and to coordinate the information that is communicated

Job Description

1. Manage and lead a team of engineers, coordinators and draftsman for a D&B project.
2. Manage the domestic C&S consultants to meet project program, design deliverables, and ST submission
3. Manage, evaluate and advise on appropriate civil and structural engineering solutions proposed by consultants to meet the project objectives, requirements, budget, specifications and code requirements.
4. Review and value-add to the designs/specifications/drawings submitted by consultants and contractors to ensure structural integrity, quality, compliance and value for money
5. Oversee structural works, coordinate with client's, consultants and sub-contractors on structural matters
6. Attend consultant and site meetings with the Project Team and conduct inspections on site to ensure that the civil and structural engineering works carried out by the contractors meet the desired quality/workmanship, specifications, code requirements and the projects are completed on time and within budget
7. Lead and manage C&S project teams by outlining and assigning work, reviewing technical accuracy and technical outcomes
8. Assist and supervise the preparation of structural coordination and rebar shop drawings for the project to be used on site for production

Job Requirements

1. Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience as structural manager role. Experience in PPVC D&B projects is a plus
2. Degree holder in Civil Engineering or equivalent
3. Skill in Autocad & Revit is a plus
