What you will do
The Media and Science of Brand Growth Team sits within the APAC growth office and is intended to drive the application of the Science of Brand Growth across the Region in addition to step-changing Kenvue’s marketing strategy and regional approach for media, content, and data, to enable measurable outcomes tied to marketing effectiveness beyond ROI and unlock marketing impact for the Kenvue regional P&L.
We are looking for a dynamic individual who is passionate about supporting and collaborating to give our APAC marketing teams a competitive edge in driving consumer-obsessed and customer-centric approaches to brand marketing effectiveness.
Reporting to the APAC SoBG and Creative Excellence Senior Manager, this specialist role will see you working closely with the Global Capability Squads, Global/Regional Brand teams, Local Marketing teams, Consumer Business Intelligence (CBI) team, Tech & Data (T&D) team and external partners to drive engagement and development at all levels.
You will be an industry leader with strong external relationships and a track record of delivering innovative approaches and strategies to building brand via marketing strategy related to media that balance driving both KPIs of brand equity and ROI.
Key Responsibilities
Enable Science of Brand Growth Change Management
- Partner with the global squad to deploy Science of Brand Growth principles, operational and measurement framework for optimal deployment in APAC.
- Responsible for the roll out and deployment of Science of Brand Growth in APAC (i.e. training) – identifying opportunities for pilots with key markets and Power Brands
- Design the Marketing Learning & Development agenda and content with subject matter experts and external partners to deliver trainings on a focused range of capabilities
- Facilitate cross-sharing and fast-scaling of best practices and use cases
Creative Strategy and Media Analytics Capability Building
- Support the right APAC creative operations infrastructure for deploying strong & consistent brand experiences, which deliver a competitive advantage for our brands, at optimal cost
- Support Brand investment Strategy module for Business Planning to support regional deployment of marketing spend across investment grade brand priorities
- Lead and coordinate media analytics capability (e.g. Marketing Mix Models) development in Asia Pacific
- Support digital solutions deployment (AI Solutions) to maximise content effectiveness, distribution and improve overall BME productivity.
Creative Operations Design and Management
- Provide input into and support the Regional Office marketing budgets allocations, including tracking, compliance and identify how to drive key efficiencies in non-working spends and BME overall. Regional SOW process to remove duplication, reduce waste and maximize efficiency.
- Support creative agency roster management for the region to drive non-working media optimization while unlocking strategic oversight for brand building & relevance with APAC consumers.
- Drive content excellence bringing outside-in focus to the business via internal and external research groups, industry organizations and other sources of expertise
- Support internal teams and external agencies to translate marketing strategies into effective creative activation across all media channels online/offline.
- Lead the business planning for the roll out and implementation of Aprimo Content (DAM) platform across APAC, ensuring the platform is embedded optimized and measured in line with AP requirements.
- Support the ongoing implementation and improvement of the Marketers Toolbox including DAM, Vidmob and other Content Excellence MarTech in partnership with Global.
- Ensure execution excellence, measure results, analyze feedback, extract and codify takeaways that drive continuous improvement.
Special Projects
- Plan and manage special projects related to improving marketing and media effectiveness in APAC
What we are looking for
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor, Master or MBA degree in Marketing, Management or related business areas.
- 5-8 years of experience in a regional marketing COE (center of excellence) team / creative agency or similar environment driving content excellence, development of processes across matrix organization structures, implementation of technology for content and a strong track record of realizing business impact and thought leadership.
- Understanding of evidence-based marketing best practice, with exposure to brand management, media, creative, agency relationship management, partnerships leverage and creating brand experiences in a digital world (i.e., media, data, social media, e-commerce, analytics)
- CPG experience as a marketer, publisher/partner or via an agency, or CBI. Experience in creative origination/development work in APAC for CPG category and change management when it comes to creative/marketing operations project to identify the right solution to drive desired outcomes.
- Prior experience in a regional role in APAC and familiarity with media analytics
- Experience in conducting creative/content analysis from a regional perspective with both internal and external data (E.g: creative campaign performance data, creative testing data etc)
- Strong understanding of the technology landscape, tools and capabilities for creative/content excellence from creation to measurement.
- Strategic shaping and delivery of capability frameworks and ‘sticky’ programs that inspire and operationalize capabilities
- Demonstrated commercial acumen and ability to make recommendation grounded in insights, data & judgement
- Track record of project management success, identifying and implementing new business opportunities, measuring and delivering in-market results
- Demonstrated understanding of, and ability to shape, design conceptual thinking for content in APAC taking into account of local culture nuances, content governance and quality control to ensure consistency and co-work with media team on various content formats that works in APAC
- Deep understanding of the role content plays in consumer experience. Fluency in data, digital ecosystems and the digital marketing funnel.
- Proven success in developing strategic agency/client partnerships to build best in class content that is suitable for the platform to drive brand, and business growth is required
- Deep understanding of key media players such as Google, Meta, Tiktok and local key publishers in China, Japan and India content play to drive brand growth
- Strong working knowledge of advertising workflow, measurement, optimization, and testing methods
- Excellent written and verbal business communication skills including conducting executive level presentations and demonstrated ability to communicate complex messages to diverse audiences
- Previous experience working with large brands/budgets and managing projects of scale
- Comfortable with ambiguity. Deals well with shaping direction in a new area and managing through change.
- Thinks in a structured way, acts in an agile way – able to set and recalibrate priorities across a multitude of opportunities
- Exceptional networker connecting broadly across the organization and across countries. Effective in working in a virtual global matrix organization. The ability to connect the dots across functions and geographies will be critical to success.
- Comfortable learning about and implementing new technologies to improve marketing effectiveness and efficiency.
- Demonstrated understanding of, and ability to shape, audience-first, delivery, measurement, and ptimization through analytics.
- Strong creative and conceptual thinking ability to set a vision, identify new opportunities, develop new ways of working, pinpoint solutions to complex problems and overcome obstacles
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate successfully and build relationships with internal teams, suppliers and agencies is required. Proven success in developing strategic agency/client partnerships to build long term brand health and business is required
- Deals well with shaping direction in a new area and building modern capability with limited guidance. Proven leadership ability to motivate and manage cross-functional teams across a matrix organization.
- Agile mindset & strong analytical skills.
- International travel may be required.

- Knowledge of the Martech/AdTech/Digital Media vendor landscape and innovation opportunities.
