About the role
McConnell Dowell seeks an experienced RTO for one of our major infrastructure projects in Singapore.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspection and supervision of Archi work, including but not limited to ALC wall & drywall, off-site precast toilet units, off-site precast façade panels factory, epoxy flooring, vinyl flooring, carpet flooring, plastering, painting, raised floor system, ceiling, screeding, tiling, waterproofing, room handover, defects, auto-door testing, lift interior, & resolving conflicts between Architectural, Structural & M&E works.
- Inspect and conduct all required tests for the project.
- Preparation & issuance of site memos on bad workmanship & non-compliant works.
- As-built drawings checks.
- Highlight safety issues as & when observed.
- Attend and witness all on-site testing of architectural works as required by the Client and authorities.
- Check that all architectural works are carried out according to the approved drawings and specifications and conform to all authority standards and requirements.
- Inspect the completed works and record all defects for rectification before handing them over to the Client.
About You
To be considered for this role, you will have;
- Diploma in a relevant field and a minimum of 8 years of architectural experience, along with at least 5 years of experience in supervising construction for projects of similar scale and complexity in a local context.
- Has good working knowledge of Architectural and Interior Design finishing works and compliance with local Building Regulations.
- Prefer to have LTA MRT project experience.
- Able to work alt sat work week.
