Job Description – Electronics Engineer

• Design and development of analog, digital and mixed signals electronics for Public Address Systems, Intercom System and Information Display Systems

• Design, optimize and validate electronic circuits to meet design and functional requirements

• Create schematics using Altium Designer.

• Conduct FAI (first article inspection) with customers

• Prepare technical reviews, technical reports, and verification/validation test reports

• Conduct product EMI/EMC certification activities

• Perform root cause analysis and resolve technical issues

• Prepare manufacturing documents (BOM, test requirements, etc)

• Support transfer of product to manufacturing vendor

• Support on-site testing and commissioning of equipment

Requirements

• Degree in Electronics Engineering with 2-5+ yrs electronics design experience or Diploma in Electronics Engineering with more than 10 years electronics design experience.

• Well versed in design verification tests, design optimization, reliability tests, and root cause analysis of electronic circuits.

• Good knowledge of digital electronics and mixed signal design.

• Knowledge of audio amplifier circuits. Knowledge of echo cancellation is an added advantage.

• Knowledge of metro railway Public Address, Intercom and Information System is an added advantage.

• Knowledge of EMI/EMC countermeasures, design for manufacturing and design for test is an added advantage.

• Knowledge of high-speed digital interface such as USB, HDMI, LVDS is an added advantage.

• Troubleshoot electronic circuits with oscilloscope, multi-meters, etc.

• Well-versed in Altium and Cadence CAD software

• Able to work well independently with strong personal work ethics and able to work with cross functional teams

• Able to work in deadline-oriented environment

Work location: Central (Queenstown/Alexandra area)

Working hours: Mon – Fri, 9am – 6pm

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain the Splunk infrastructure, which includes installing and configuring Splunk components, such as indexers, search heads, forwarders and clusters.
• Develop and deploy Splunk applications and dashboards, which are collections of reports, charts, tables, maps, and other visualizations that can display data from various sources and allow users to interact with the data.
• Use Splunk modules and APIs to integrate Splunk with other systems and applications, such as databases, web servers, cloud services, security tools and network devices.
• Use Splunk query language (SPL) to search, filter, manipulate, and analyze data from various sources and create custom reports and alerts based on the data.
• Use Splunk Enterprise Security (ES), which is a premium app for Splunk that provides security intelligence and analytics, to monitor and investigate security incidents and threats across the enterprise.
• Use Splunk IT Service Intelligence (ITSI), which is another premium app for Splunk that provides end-to-end visibility and analytics for IT services and infrastructure, to measure and improve the performance and availability of IT services and systems.
• Troubleshoot and optimize the performance, scalability, reliability and security of the Splunk environment and applications.

Requirements:

• Must have requirement: Splunk Enterprise Certified Architect certification
• At least 1 year relevant working experience with Splunk technology
• Possess Splunk Core Certified User, Splunk Core Certified Power User, and Splunk Enterprise Certified Admin certifications

As Customer Solution Architect, you will be responsible for the following tasks and topics:

• In the customer solutioning group, you would be responsible for designing and developing the entire digital twin offering for energy and industrial infrastructure.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to determine the right solution construct for a given business problem and come up with solution blueprint, which is reliable, safe, and scalable.
• You will be responsible for all the processes including customer/ stakeholder management, pre-sales activities, site audits, on-site technical discussions, proposal creations etc.
• Harmonize multiple engineering streams on a single platter and connect the dots to form a meaningful solution that can be offered to our customer.
• You will be responsible to take technology related decisions for various customer projects.
• Help grow business in the APJ region by contributing to your capacity in customer pitches, technology evaluations, vendor evaluation and management, etc.
• Staying abreast with various latest measurement, automation and monitoring technologies which forms the basis of Industry 4.0 to address various business problems.
• Collaborating with the platform development team to customize and modify the digital twin solution architecture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor / Master’s in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Materials or related fields from a reputed institution
• 5+ years of experience in technical pre-sales role
• Exceptional skills in physics, mathematics, probability, statistics, and algorithms
• Concrete understanding of Digital Twin Solution construct
• Ability to design and realize the project from end to end which entails connecting multiple domains to stitch a complete digital twin solution
• Bridge gap between business problem and technology solutions
• Ability to Comprehend first Principles based models required for Digital Twin Projects
• Ability to connect engineering to data science
• Experience/ Understanding of physics informed and first-principle based AI
• Very good understanding of Industrial machines and mechanical aspects
• Good understanding of signal processing and industrial grade sensors
• Good stakeholder management and presentation skills
