A. Overall Purpose Of The Job (Brief description of the primary purpose of this position) The Solution Architect is responsible for planning, overseeing and leading solution designs from ideation through to completion. This role at Organization requires specializing in IT Infrastructure & Security technologies, you will be responsible for designing comprehensive technical solutions and managing the end-to-end delivery of infrastructure solutions. You will collaborate with IT solution vendors, partners, cross-functional teams, including stakeholders from various business line, to ensure successful project delivery aligned with business requirements. Your expertise in solution design & architecture, project management, and technical leadership will be vital in driving the successful delivery of solutions. The Solution Architect will be part of PMO delivery team responsible for driving infrastructure & security roadmap, solution and transformation projects such as Digital Office, Privileged Access Management (PAM) etc. The key focus area would be in the modernization of workplace and mobility services such as Active Directory, Identity Access and Authorization Management solutions, endpoint client management solutions. The Solution Architect would need to consider the end-to-end application and service landscape in the implementation of these solutions and also understand security requirements for the solutions such as requirement for single-sign-on, encryption and SSL management, Data Loss Prevention technologies and data classification policy. B. Key Responsibilities (Critical responsibilities and skills of this position, listed in order of importance) • Understand business requirements and objectives of the IT Infrastructure & Cyber Security roadmap and projects and map these into the technology solution for implementation • Design and architect IT Infrastructure solutions, including end-user computing services such as messaging, authentication services, IDAM/PAM, client<>server infrastructure, storage systems, network architecture, and security components, that align with the architecture guiding principles and reference architecture. • Accountable for the detailed component specifications and translating these into detailed designs for implementation. • Create or review High Level Designs (HLD) and Low-Level Designs (LLD) to ensure that these adhere to technology standards. • Collaborate with all stakeholders to provide technical guidance and support during the implementation phase of infrastructure projects. • Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to identify potential technical challenges and propose mitigation strategies. • Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, platforms, and tools to meet project requirements in the IT Infrastructure domain. • Create and maintain all solution architecture and delivery artifacts, including infrastructure diagrams, technical specifications, and configurations. • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to team members working on IT Infrastructure projects. • Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, promoting effective communication and problemsolving across infrastructure projects. • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in IT Infrastructure, solution architecture, and project management. • Define and drive quality standards across solution design and delivery. C. Job Profile Required Work Experience (Brief description of the job-related experience needed to perform the job) 1. Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. 2. Proven experience as a Solution Architect, in designing and implementing IT Infrastructure & IT Security Page 2 of 2 solutions and projects. 3. Strong knowledge of IT Infrastructure principles, network architecture, server infrastructure, storage systems, and cyber security tools and infrastructure. 4. Well versed on IT Service Management processes such as incident, change, problem management. 5. Proficiency in infrastructure technologies, such as end-user computing, authorization, authentication and access services, virtualization, cloud computing, networking, and security. 6. Familiarity with cloud platforms, such as Microsoft SaaS services, Azure, Authorization/Authentication/Access management tools and infrastructure automation tools. 7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. 8. Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop and maintain project plans, monitor progress, and manage budgets and resources. 9. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. 10. Strong leadership skills to provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members. 11. Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 for Modern Desktop, Microsoft Windows Servers and Microsoft Security, Compliance and Identity certifications, CISA, CISSP, CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or ITIL, are a plus. 12. Knowledge and experience in dealing with Compliance and Audit certifications such as PCIDSS, Cyber Essential and ISO27001
