We are looking to hire a Data Centre Project Support resource to in Singapore to support our banking client. The incumbent will support the DCS Project, Design & Implementation team in delivering the various projects involving planning, implementation to completion stage.

The resource is also required work and communicate with multiple teams within the region over the course of the project.

Responsibilities:

• Coordination with internal teams and external vendors to ensure project milestones are met in a timely manner
• Information gathering on requirements from internal teams
• Assist structured cabling design in IT rooms and work with vendors on the implementation
• Assist to manage purchase requests required for projects, i.e. obtaining and reviewing quotations, obtain approval for purchase, submission of purchase requests through internal system, ensuring timely delivery and payment of purchases
• Coordinating various tasks required for the project i.e. site access, delivery, installations, etc.
• Provide onsite support for installations and physical inspection to ensure quality of work by vendors (where applicable)
• Maintaining of project reports, records, documentations
• Update inventory information onto Nlyte
• Other tasks as assigned by DCS PDI team lead to support the projects

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years working experience with Data Centers and IT Facilities. Knowledge and prior experience in the following:

• Physical racking and un-racking of devices
• Equipment placements in IT racks (rack assignment)
• Structured cabling design and implementation
• Understanding of space, power and cooling
• Experience in supporting project work

This is an in-office environment role, there are occasional weekend works.

There will be no over-time pay but day-off can be arranged for working on weekend.

• Taking the conceptual design through to implementation and handover;
• Ensure that all design is in compliance with local authorities’ code.
• Ensuring sustainability targets are incorporated into the design;
• Production of tender documentation, including project specifications and contract schedules such as Summary of Tender and Schedule of Rates;
• Progressing the design in accordance with the Design Checklist;
• Chairing sub-contractor progress meetings;
• Chairing Architectural Department Client weekly Meetings;
• Liaising with Quality Assurance / Quality Compliance engineers to ensure alignment of supervision goals with specification requirements;
• In the absence of a Lead Architect, the Senior Architect shall assume the role and responsibilities assigned to the Lead Architect position;
• Mentoring of an Architect with the intent of securing properly trained personnel to ensure the continual expansion of the company;
• Ensuring Architectural System Supervisor is provided with the current approved plans and shop drawings;
• Ensuring Architectural System Supervisor is fully briefed on the awarded scope of work, the tender technical documents and all contractual revisions to tender documentation.

About the team

As a core member of our LLM Global Data Team, you'll be at the heart of our operations. Gain first-hand experience in understanding the intricacies of training Large Language Models (LLMs) with diverse data sets. Through our carefully designed rotation program, you'll witness how high-quality data is meticulously crafted and used. After completing your rotation, you will have the chance to select your area of expertise.

Your Role Will Involve:

1. Gaining direct experience in data production, including drafting, revising, and quality-checking, to understand the synergy between humans and data in LLM training.
