The Design for Manufacturability Engineer is responsible for managing the manufacturability of products. The Design for Manufacturability Engineer establishes reliable, stable and Lean manufacturing processes. This person serves as key interface between Engineering and Manufacturing, and provides expertise in areas such as machining, process planning (Lean), manufacturing and mechanical assembly process design, test procedures, standard work development, ownership of new product routings, cost roll. Responsibilities

-Collaborate with internal team in Singapore to engage with customers / consultants on a daily basis

-Prepare project documents including BQ

-Manage Design & Build projects

-Develop optimized design solutions for projects

-Create Design drawings (Single Line Drawings & layouts)

-Conduct design calculations including voltage drop, short circuit current etc.

-Support multiple M&E projects concurrently

-Chair project meetings and collaborate with team members to meet deadlines

-Ensure drawings & documents are properly maintained & stored promptly

-Perform other adhoc duties as assigned

Requirement

-Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering

-Minimum 3 yrs of relevant hands-on M&E experience in construction industry, LTA projects, mixed development etc

-Familiarity with Singapore codes such as SS638 (CP5), SS650, SS555 etc required

-Experience with AutoCAD drawings preferred

-Knowledge of BIM (Revit / Navisworks) is beneficial

-Consultancy experience preferred

-Effective organizational and follow-up skills, attention to detail

-Strong communication skills

• Designing Up/Down Converters operating at Ka band frequencies

Requirements:

Job Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in air-conditioning system design, major retrofit works’ design involving chiller plant systems and/or energy audits of existing projects
