The Enterprise Application Service Line is a business unit within Capgemini that focuses on the development, implementation, and management of enterprise-level software applications like SAP, Oracle, Coupa, etc.
We focus on large-scale software systems design and implementation to support and streamline business processes across an entire organization typically encompass various functional areas such as finance, human resources, supply chain management, customer relationship management, and more. We provide a range of services from Consulting and Advisory Services to Implementation, development, customization & integration, Application Maintenance & Support, Upgrades & Enhancements and Testing Services. We build agility in introducing innovation with a highly industrialised implementation of SAP S/4HANA and other non-SAP enterprise applications to deliver a clean and touchless core with industry best practice process and industry-specific cloud extension.
Responsibilities:
- Solution Design: Collaborate with sales teams to analyze customer requirements and architect customized solutions that align with the company's product and implementation offerings. Develop and present detailed proposals, demonstrating how the proposed solutions address client needs and create value.
- Technical Expertise: Possess a deep understanding of the company's products, services, and industry trends. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices to provide expert advice to clients and internal teams.
- Consultative Selling: Engage with clients in a consultative manner, asking probing questions to uncover pain points, challenges, and opportunities. Translate client insights into innovative solutions that leverage the company's products and services.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, engineering, product, and marketing teams to ensure alignment in solution design, pricing, and strategy. Act as a liaison between sales and technical teams to bridge any gaps and ensure successful implementation of solutions.
- Value Proposition: Clearly articulate the unique value proposition of the proposed solutions, highlighting how they can address specific client needs and deliver tangible business outcomes
- Pre-sales Support: Lead technical presentations, demonstrations, and workshops to educate clients on the features, benefits, and capabilities of the proposed solutions. Address technical questions and concerns, and provide guidance throughout the sales cycle.
- Requirements Analysis: Gather and document detailed technical and business requirements from clients, translating them into actionable project plans and solution architectures.
- Solution Documentation: Create comprehensive solution documentation, including diagrams, specifications, and technical documentation, to guide the implementation teams and ensure successful project execution.
- Market Insights: Stay informed about market trends, competitive landscape, and industry challenges to proactively identify opportunities for new solutions or enhancements to existing offerings.
- Continuous Learning: Engage in ongoing professional development to expand technical knowledge, sales skills, and industry expertise. Seek certifications and training to stay at the forefront of relevant technologies and methodologies.
- Capture, document and model (if applicable) architecture requirements
- Contribute in creating and maintaining SAP ERP architecture strategy, vision and guidelines in alignment with various architecture bodies in the Capgemini group
- Actively guide and mentor solution architects during the proof of concept and implementation
- Drive for simplification, harmonization and reuse from architecture perspective whenever possible
- Work closely with Regional Deployment Lead to ensure effective project governance, management and timely reporting of progress on activities and work packages according to the program plan and milestones
Requirements:
- Over 12-15 years of delivering SAP implementation and support projects.
- Experience with Salesforce, ServiceNow and other technologies is preferred
- Broad and strong experience in area Enterprise Application Architecture preferably SAP HANA with solid technical skills in different domains (application, middleware, integration, databases, UI cloud, analytics, etc)
- Strategic thinker yet someone with operational service design experience
- In depth knowledge of Architectural principles from contextual through to implementation
- Strong knowledge of integration patterns, including a practical understanding of API and microservice event-driven architectures
- Demonstrate understanding of cloud and hybrid integration as well as broad understanding of the capabilities that enable these architectures.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills across all areas and levels
- Passion in the simplification and standardization of complex processes and IT systems
- Flexibility to work outside of normal working hours and work virtually
- Availability to travel occasionally
- Knowledge of regulated environment, Computer System Validation and experience in ITIL are desirable
- Excellent English language skills, additional languages would be advantages
