Job Descriptions:
- Contract Administration: Manage contract matters with Clients, Consultants, and Sub-contractors, ensuring site staff are aware of contract obligations and work scopes.
- Procurement: Source Sub-contractors and Suppliers, obtain quotations, perform cost comparisons, and request purchase orders to secure the best prices and conditions for the project budget.
- Progress Claims & Payments: Prepare and submit progress claims to the Client, assess Sub-contractors' claims, and prepare payment vouchers to ensure adequate cash flow for the project.
- Cost Monitoring: Update monthly cost reports to HQ and the Project Manager, detailing project expenses and financial status to enable necessary site adjustments.
- Variation Order Claims (VO Claims): Identify variation works and submit relevant claims, while reporting Architect Instructions on time and cost implications to the Project Manager.
- Site Coordination: Assist in coordinating with Sub-contractors and Suppliers on work progress, and arrange meetings when necessary.
- Project/Technical Meetings: Attend meetings and advise the Project Manager on cost-related queries from the Owner or Consultants to ensure smooth site progress.
- Measurements: Perform accurate quantity take-offs for claims and payment purposes to prevent overpayments.
- Document Preparation: Coordinate with the site team to prepare relevant documents for monthly progress reports, including cash flow, Sub-contractor lists, Architect Instruction (AI) lists, and Variation Order (VO) lists.
- Final Account Settlement: Determine the final project costs and trades, advising the Project Manager on settlement with Clients and Sub-contractors to ensure amicable agreements.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentoring to junior staff.
Job Requirements:
- Experience in contract administration, procurement, cost management, and project coordination.
- Ability to handle progress claims, VO claims, and final account settlements.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage project finances.
- Team-oriented with mentoring experience to support junior staff.
