Property Officer Roles and Responsibilities
Job Description
To assist the Condominium Manager in the daily operations and maintenance of the property.
To assist in the enforcement and ensure compliance by subsidiary proprietors and occupiers on all By-laws, house rules and government regulations.
To establish and maintain good relationship with subsidiary proprietors and occupiers of the estate.
To attend and resolve all subsidiary proprietors’ and occupiers complaints.
To recommend and suggest preventive maintenance and repair works for the estate.
To conduct weekly inspection to ensure smooth operation of all M&E Plants e.g. air-conditioning, electrical lighting, toilets, fire protection systems, etc.
To supervise all terms and M&E contractors engaged in maintaining the property.
To liaise with contractors on the management and repair of defects in the estate.
To oversee the repair and rectification of defects or faults carried out by the estate’s Technician.
To invite quotations when directed and present summary of quotes to the Condominium Manager.
To ensure that the common areas and facilities such as lifts, cleaning and landscape, security guardhouse, carparks, etc. are in good and serviceable condition at all times.
To assist office administrative personnel when required.
To assist and resolve all defects within the estate.
To demonstrate a commitment to satisfying Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements and therefore maintain current registration or licence.
Additional responsible for designing and arranging for placement of suitable advertising material, including window displays.
To generate weekly / monthly property status reports to management.
To ensure that properties are maintained and presented, in accordance with the owner’s instructions.
To ensure that any administrative functions as directed by management are completed promptly and in an efficient manner.
To ensure motor vehicle is always maintained both mechanically an aesthetically including current insurance.
To ensure punctual attendance for all internal and external business commitments.
To maintain a well-groomed and business-like appearance.
To participate in key result and key performance indicator review processes to establish areas for improvement.
To maintain a high professional and ethical profile in accordance with industry and company standards.
You are required to be fully responsible for all council meetings, AGM’s EGM’s, emergencies, system failures, etc.
You will be fully responsible for carrying out the duties of a Property Officer and representing the company for the project assigned to you.
