A quantity surveyor may work for either the client, the contractor or sub-con, working in an office or on site. They are involved in a project from the start, preparing estimates and costs of the work.

When the project is in progress, quantity surveyors keep track of any variations to the contract that may affect costs and create reports to show profitability.

Aside from Quantity Surveyor, he or she will also act as project engineer wherein will take charge of the suprvising the project, adhere to construction procedures, coordinate all work schedule with the main con and liase with project manager and archi coordinator.

He or She should monitor and ensure that the work progress is within project schedules and manage the project independently as well as lead and motivate team.

Estimation of quantities, preparing BOQ, BBS as per drawing.

• Coordinating with Design & Construction team.

• Review engineering drawing and specifications and ensure the correctness of transfer of drawing details to ground, Checking all centering and reinforcement works.

• Physical measurement of quantities and tracking the productivity.

• Ensuring timely resource availability.

• Undertaking cost analysis for repair and alteration done by customer in project work.

Job Description:

Job Scope and Duties include:

a) Monitoring of incoming emails and request for quotation and other administrative duties.

b) Study the Tender Documents to determine the Irrigation Scope of Works & Subsequently submit / respond to Tender Clarifications, Tender Addendums, etc.

c) Undertake Material Take-Offs and Bill of Quantities for the purpose of preparing proposals and tender submissions.

d) Drafting out the irrigated area using ACAD software, determine the water source, read the irrigation specification and outline the specific scope of works of each project.

e) Work out a preliminary irrigation design during proposal stage.

f) Prepare draft quotations including draft pricing based on standard rates.

g) Work together with Administration Staff to ensure all emails and quotation are addressed and sent out.

h) Follow-up on Tender corrigendum, addendums, clarifications and amend quotations if necessary.

i) Follow-up with Main Contractor’s QS during Tender Stage.

j) Assist the Project Management Team in claim submission and follow-up of regular payments.

k) Attend safety course, serve as a safety co-ordinator, prepare and submit safety submission and address all other site safety related issues.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget while meeting all technical specifications and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

· Manage, design, develop, create, and maintain small-scale through to large-scale construction projects in a safe, timely, and sustainable manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Involve in hands-on field survey and sampling work carried out for environmental survey and monitoring purposes. (Marine & terrestrial survey)
• Working onboard vessels to carry out environmental surveys.
• Plan, prepare and coordinate surveys/sampling trips following standard methods and scientific practices.
• First-hand QAQC on field data, identify discrepancies of data out in the field and find ways to mitigate them.
• Ensure all safety requirements in compliance with our in-house policy while carrying out the work.
• Support the operational team with day-in-day-out work whenever it is required.
• Require handling, calibrating, operating, and maintaining survey instruments.
• Perform equipment inventory, storage, and housekeeping.
