1.Role Purpose

Mechanical Superintendent reports to the Construction Manager and is responsible for coordinating with yard construction team, resolving any field-related issues, and ensuring that all mechanical work is executed efficiently and in compliance with project specifications and industry regulations. 2. Duties & Responsibilities

• Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure all work meets project specifications and industry standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and rectify any quality issues.

6) Safety Management:

• Conduct safety briefings and training sessions for the construction team.

7) Issue Resolution:

• Identify and resolve any technical or logistical issues that arise during construction.
• Collaborate with relevant parties to address and mitigate project risks.

3. JOB REQUIREMENTS

• The degree of Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 10 years of experience in mechanical construction in Process, Chemical, Power Plant Projects.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale construction projects, particularly in high-pressure environments.
• Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and construction practices in the Oil and Gas sector.
• Strong leadership abilities with experience in supervising and managing construction teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and mitigate risks effectively.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and quality control processes specific to the Oil and Gas industry.

Job Scope:

6. Update technician attendance and overtime data.

7. Liaise with Safety Company for safety equipment routine checking for building.

1. Challenges of Position – This position requires coordinate with contractor as well as negotiation with supplier. The incumbent has to manage the group of manpower, share knowledge to all technical staffs and continue develop technical knowledge to improve the operation work environment and Plant facility.
2. Communication Network – The incumbent must develop general strategies and keep in alignment of company direction through communication with Engineering Engineer and Engineering Consultant. The incumbent is responsible for direct management and non-management for building, machineries, project and utility plant improvement.

• Prior to construction phase, make necessary preparation for site construction works: elaborate construction work schedule; participate to the selection and pre-qualification of contractors; prepare or revises work package technical documents for inquiry; review and validate contractor technical proposals;
• Monitor and control the construction activities and work performed by the Construction Supervisors reporting to him, and by the contractors;
• Provide technical assistance and support to contractors to ensure the proper understanding and application of AL standards and procedures;
