Position Summary:
The Senior Financial Analyst will report to the FP&A Manager and support the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function for all commercial operations for APAC. This includes responsibilities related to monthly reporting, consolidation, forecasting, and budgeting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Forecasting and Planning Support: Assist in the development of Rolling Forecasts, Business Reviews, Annual Operating Plans, and Strategic Plans.
- Sales and Financial Reporting: Ensure timely delivery of daily/weekly sales reports, monthly/quarterly profit & loss (PL) analysis, and financial trend reports to Global and APAC management.
- Financial Analysis: Perform analysis on the post-launch performance of new products and conduct Price-Volume analysis. Develop revenue, margin, and pricing reports using Business Intelligence tools (BI Database, Power BI) to support decision-making for APAC management.
- Consolidation and Profit & Loss (P&L) Analysis: Consolidate and analyze monthly and quarterly P&L statements for various business units. Partner with functional leaders and Strategic Marketing to track OPEX (operating expenses) and headcount.
- Cost and SKU Analysis: Support the annual cost roll process and work with APAC countries to ensure accurate SKU-level costing.
- Process Improvement: Streamline and improve current processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Ad-Hoc Projects and Analysis: Lead ad-hoc projects, provide technical input on FP&A matters, and assist with financial modeling and related tasks. Support due diligence and integration for potential M&A projects.
- Team Guidance and Training: Provide guidance and training to local teams on FP&A-related topics.
- Ad-hoc Requests: Handle ad-hoc financial requests and reporting as needed.
Education & Experience:
- Qualifications: Certified Accountant with a degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in similar roles. Candidate with more experience will be considered for Senior Financial Analyst
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of Oracle Hyperion, PBCS, and advanced Excel skills.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, VBA), SAP, Power BI, and Business Intelligence tools is an advantage.
