Job Details:

• Location: Ang Mio Kio/ Choa Chu Kang
• Working Days: 5.5 days per week
• Contract Duration: 3 months to perm

Job Descriptions:

• Responsible as Overall on site in-charge for property management services under the contract with the client
• Responsible for smooth building/facilities management operation including developing guidelines/SOP and advise Client with options available and best resolution based on requirements, Client practices and site circumstances
• Responsible for incident control, management, activation of rightful parties for incident response and timely reporting/escalation
• Responsible for maintenance and upgrading activities including power shutdown for High Tension/Low Tension HT/LT serving/genset load test, cyclical replacement works from planning, execution till defects closure
• Responsible to advise Client and make recommendation ensuring its maintenance regime by contractors is timely, appropriate and adequate and licenses renewal / authorities’ submission are in compliance with latest authorities’ requirements, Acts, Regulation, Singapore standards, Code of Practices
• Responsible for preparation of annual OPX/CAPEX Budget, its control and monitoring

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering / Mechanical & Air-conditioning Engineering or equivalent
• At least 8 years of relevant experience in managing similar facilities and data centre facilities, with three (3) years managerial roles in similar project scale and competent to handle key building infrastructure systems, and FM200, VESDA, CRAU, BMS
• Compulsory certification: bizSAFE Level 2, CERT training/ WSQ Respond to Fire & HazMat Emergency and WSQ Implement Incident Management Process.
• Additional qualifications of EMA Licensed electrical worker, BCA Certified Green Mark Manager (GMM), BCA Green Mark Professional (GMP). BCA Green Mark Facilities Manager (GMFM), Singapore certified Energy Manager, etc., will be highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced, high volume environment

Roles and responsibilities

The Project Manager oversees the planning and all project operations. He/She manages the progress of the project and ensures quality and timely delivery. The Project Manager will be required to travel to project sites. He/She must have good communication skills to liaise with the various stakeholders.

- Coordinate with relevant parties to manage progress of the project to meet project schedule.

- Lead team to manage project operations, schedule and specifications.

- Manage operational costs to keep costs within the budget.

- Manage site document filing and record keeping in accordance with International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) standards.

- To develop new, site-specific and technical solutions.

- Monitor compliance of work with the workplace safety and health regulations.-~ Monitor quality of project delivery to make sure they meet project requirements and regulations.

- Familiar with performance targets and responsible for achieving and completing all performance targets to meet completion schedule in terms of costs, performance, time and quality.

- Liaise and co-ordinate with Construction team, technical and commercial team at headquarters in Germany and the client.

Qualification

- Degree in Civil Engineering or related disciplines

Requirements

- Min 8 to 10 years of experience in similar capacity with extensive knowledge in steel, glass and building envelopes.

- Must have the competency to manage and lead project team.

- Solid financial know-how, craftsmanship and a strong awareness of costs.

- Experience in the field of technical building services would be an advantage.

- Security clearance according to the guidelines Ü2 of the German Foreign Office.

- Able to communicate effectively with good interpersonal skills.

- Very good German language skills (level C1) required.

Job Description

• Review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical submittals to ensure alignment with project requirements.
• Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary teams to integrate MEICA systems seamlessly into existing building design, ensuring compatibility and optimal operation.
• Conduct technical reviews of MEICA engineering designs and proposals, recommending improvements to optimise equipment constructability and efficiency.
• Develop MEICA construction plans, sequencing, resource allocation, and logistical considerations.
• Prepare cost estimates for MEICA components and services, considering design changes and project specifics.
• Provide technical leadership in the installation of MEICA systems.
• Oversee the entire MEICA construction process, ensuring strict adherence to technical specifications, industry standards, safety standards, and best practices.
• Supervise and mentor MEICA construction team, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Collaborate closely with the client / stakeholders, addressing technical inquiries and ensuring MEICA systems align with their operational requirements.
• Enforce strict safety protocols and industry regulations on the construction site.
• Provide regular project updates, technical reports, and installation strategies to clients and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical, or a related field.
• 15 years of experience in the planning and construction of waste to energy plants or major process industry / industrial / infrastructure projects.
• Proven track record as a MEICA construction manager in large scale projects, managing internal / external stakeholders – HSE, QA, Subcontractors, Suppliers, Client, Authorities.
• Proficiency in planning, scheduling, and resource management
• Ability to identify and address construction challenges and issues promptly.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and the capacity to motivate and develop a team.
• Knowledge of safety and regulatory compliance requirements related to construction logistics.

Job Description & Requirements

• Monitor and manage day-to-day operations of projects, or function, including developing and monitoring budgets, coordinating activities with other sub-contractors
• Plan the work schedule and efficiently organize the site facilities in order to meet an agreed program of deadlines
• Liaise with consultants and/or sub-contractors engaged on the project
• Attend regular meetings with owner/client/contractors/sub-contractors and ensure the progress is on schedule
• Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise
• Monitor and ensure subcontractors comply with specified requirements
• ldentify and comply with all applicable statutory regulatory requirements related to project
• Identify possible risks to project and stakeholders as well as create contingency plans to mitigate these risks
• Respond swiftly to work delays, emergencies and other problems
• Clear communication to external parties including client, subcontractors, consultants, vendors etc. on project needs, requirements and schedule by means of daily construction oversight
• Review all method statement of the activities ensuring safe execution and maximization of resources used for job efficient
• Prepare monthly site report updating the latest progress and planning to achieve the project milestone
• Complete task as assigned by Project Manager and Project Director

Requirement:

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
• At least 10 years of engineering experience in the related field is required for this position
• At least 5 years of experience in managing civil and infrastructure construction work for projects of similar scale, complexity and nature of work
• Work as Team leader, leading team on project requirements and target achievement
• Acting as rigorous preson on Identify possible risks in project

Responsibilities:

• Manage Piling, Excavation, ERSS, RC, and Architecture work
• Preparing the site and liaising with other construction professionals before construction work starts

• Making safety inspections of the site when work is underway and ensuring regulations relating to health, safety, and the environment are adhered to

Requirements:

• Recognized Degree in Civil Engineering
• Min 10 years of civil engineering experience of which includes 5 - 7 years in managing a construction team for LTA MRT projects

Managing the site activities of construction projects

1. Manage all project site related activities ( i.e. including preliminaries, structural, M&E, plumbing & Architecture related matters )

2. Drives project site activities in accordance to project schedules and timeline

3. Engage Engineering Service dept. to ensure the latest revised construction drawing are use

4. Engage Supply Chain & Procurement for machinery and materials needed

1. Ensure proper handover of construction documents to the Clients

2. Ensure the Sub contractor submit the proper handover documents to the company

3. Ensure the project deliver by us and sub-contractor to client(s) on schedule with "0" defect
