Reporting to the BMS Project Manager, the candidate will be accountable for ensuring the work required; such as, submittals, RFI’s, coordination drawings, updating documents, etc., are complete, ready, and approved for the Building Management Systems (BMS) Subcontractors to perform their scope of work in the strictest of compliance to the contract documents.  This role is focused on working with the Senior Commissioning Manager and BMS Project Manager who are responsible for the BMS Subcontractor operations and installation for a large complex data center project, having stringent technical requirements.

• Work closely with the Engineering Manager to lead logistics of all installed DfMA/PPVC modules

• Log and post all changes and as-built information on field drawings. Provide such information to the Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) team so such information can be incorporated into the final virtual model

We are seeking an individual with QA/QC experience in the steel trade for the position of QA/QC Engineer for Fortis Construction Pte. Ltd. Singapore operations. The candidate will assist with the QA/QC program throughout the design and construction phase of the largest multistory data center in Asia (The Project).

Reporting to the QA/QC Manager, the candidate will be responsible for assuring the implementation and compliance with the Quality Assurance System and for scope of work related to the structural steel items. 

It is expected the candidate will be a very detailed and organized individual with extensive previous experience working as a QA/QC on large, international projects with deep knowledge of steel structural systems. There will be a significant amount of “hands on” work understanding and implementing the VDC QA/QC systems. The candidate must have excellent leadership and Emotional Quotient (EQ) skills and be able to relate to and communicate with the client, the Fortis Construction Pte. Ltd. team, subcontractors of all tiers, vendors and immediately establish trust and confidence in his/her ability.

The candidate will provide guidance to other team members they interact with and manage daily. The candidate will be expected to know the drawings and specifications and dig into the details to resolve issues.

We are seeking an individual with experience of Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) / Building Information Modeling (BIM) coordination for Fortis Construction Pte. Ltd. Singapore operations throughout the design and construction phase of the largest multistory data center in Asia (The Project).  

Reporting to the Design Manager, the candidate will be accountable for coordinating and collaboration among Fortis' BIM team and subcontractors. Knowledge and implementation experience of necessary BIM software technologies is required. This role is focused primarily on coordinating BIM on a large complex program with stringent standards and integrated QA/QC requirements.  As the team is built and the project gets underway, the long-term vision/preference is to expand this team and potentially support Fortis Construction, Inc. projects for the same client and ultimately have a Southeast Asia-based BIM department.  

The candidate will work as a member of the BIM team in Singapore and is expected to be detail-oriented with extensive previous experience working as a BIM Coordinator. The candidate must have excellent Emotional Quotient (EQ) skills and be able to relate to and communicate with the Fortis Construction Pte. Responsibilities:

• Adhere to Fortis and the client’s corporate standards for VDC/BIM/VR/QA/QC requirements and workflows across Fortis Construction Pte. Ltd.’s practice as well as coordinate with site-based teams
• Implement and coordinate technology applications and solutions with the Fortis Singapore and US VDC/BIM teams
