Main duties:

To coordinate between Application and Infrastructure Teams to implement the Infra Requirements for Applications

Responsibilities and Duties

• To coordinate in setting up Infrastructure and support Application Infra needs
• Ensure Operating system,Middleware, Database performance ,Security /Bug fix patches ,EOS and security (ISCD) compliance in accordance to the bank standards
• Provides hands on technical expertise (SME) , senior level technical guidance to application team as necessary
• Assist and respond promptly to incident, investigate and provide temporary/permanent resolution to incidents escalated with respect to Middleware/ Operating system/ database performance, capacity, resiliency , stability,replication and other key aspects
• Researching and recommending solution that best meet business needs and enterprise operational requirements
• Provide technical support to application development teams
• Evaluate release of Middleware, Operating system, Database components and its tools to ensure entire environment is complaint with no/minimal impact

Qualifications

• Knowledge in Kubernetes,Docker, Jenkins, DevOps, Other Container platforms
• Knowledge in Linux OS,Wintel OS, MariaDB or Any Other databases
• Knowledge in Networking(F5 GTM/LTM or any other SLB)
• 5 Years minimum professional experience and 3 Years minimum relevant experience
• Experience in banking or financial services institutions preferred
• Will need to work in shifts and in weekends
• Team player to work with multiple teams and teammates

Responsibilities

The Technical Support Analyst role is for a StarHub subsidiary. The incumbent will be attached at client's office to coordinate, manage the scope as stated below:

• Hardware break-fix support for business critical systems such as servers, storage, server blades, POS etc.
• Software support for end-user systems, Windows OS, applications
• Desktop/End-User support
• 24/7 Rotational Standby duties for after office hour cases
• Testing and commissioning of replacement equipment to ensure workability of the system
• Updating of tracking system for any parts / service request for traceability of tasks and effort spent
• Inventory verification and preventive maintenance of equipment
• Clone, reimage or installation of Windows OS
• Troubleshoot Windows-based OS issues such as: device driver issues, printer issues, remove Trojan/virus etc.
• End user data migration and PC deployment during hardware refresh
• Quality Assurance testing for hardware equipment including/but not limited to rack mount servers, blade servers, switches and storages, desktops/laptops
• Onsite Staging/Configuration for Servers/Blade System (HP, IBM or Dell)
• Required to take on responsibility of coordinating the installation & setup request from customer
• Attending of project meetings for the commencement of the installation & setup project
• Verification of equipment delivered before start of project to ensure the accuracy
• Testing & commissioning of newly installed equipment to ensure all system functions are met
• UAT & documentation of system installation & setup for customer reference
• Backfill for MOS/MNS contract

Working hour : Follow client's working hours. 5 days work week.

Requirements

• ITE Higher Nitec in Information Technology/Information System/Computer Science. Business IT or other relevant disciplines.
• At least 2 years of desktop support experience
• Possess relevant IT skills set in hardware and software troubleshooting
• Experience installing software, patches, updates on Desktops, Laptops
• Experience in supporting Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and Anti-virus software
• Must be customer-service oriented with good interpersonal and communication skills
• Good attitude with positive mindset in learning and ready to excel
• Able to work independently as well as in a team

Responsibilities:

1. Software Technical Services:

• System software maintenance: Routine maintenance, installation, upgrades of Windows operating systems; using guides and configuration services,and system image creation and maintenance；
• Application Software Services：OFFICE series software; IE series software and other business software systems installation, maintenance, and upgrades；
• User Guidance Services：Resolve client issues with commonly used software operation, hardware problems encountered, and provide basic training；
• Virus Protection Maintenance：Installation of antivirus software, updates for antivirus databases, and removal of viruses from client terminals；

2. Hardware Maintenance Content

• Hardware installation, debugging, network configuration, peripheral installation, and driver installation；
• Detection, localization, and troubleshooting of hardware faults；
• Providing hardware repair and delivery services；
• Ensuring stable operation of hardware (hard drives, motherboards, memory, etc.) through routine maintenance to extend hardware lifespan；
• Providing irregular guidance and training on hardware usage, software operation, and internet use based on customer needs and actual conditions to enhance customers’ computer skills and efficiency；
• Assisting in the numbering and registration of existing equipment, and compiling statistics on maintenance rates and costs；

3. Network Issues

• Terminal network connections；
• Terminal network troubleshooting；
• Network connections and troubleshooting from switches to terminals；

4. Helpdesk Service Content

• Handle tickets assigned by the Call Center and complete them on time；
• Address other Helpdesk tasks as per the client’s work arrangements；

Requirements:

In addition to meeting the provisions of the main agreement, the basic requirements for Party B’s IT technical service personnel are as follows：

1. Familiar with various Windows operating systems and computer hardware (desktop computers, laptops, etc.)；
2. Familiar with general network hardware and capable of performing basic troubleshooting and configuration tasks；
3. Familiar with the configuration of various application software；
4. Possess a college diploma or bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, with one to two years of relevant work experience.
5. Have basic communication skills in both Chinese and English, to support and maintain Chinese and English versions of operating systems and software systems.
6. Have good customer communication skills and the ability to plan and organize work.
