Responsibilities

Support engineer to perform daily operation tasks as follow:

• To provide technical support and troubleshooting for end user devices, including but not limited to laptop computers, mobile devices, monitor screen, docking stations, printers, network devices, etc.
• To track, maintain and perform record-keeping of Novo Nordisk IT assets such as laptop, iPhone, iPad, and monitor screen.
• To assist with new employee onboarding by providing necessary devices and access according to Novo Nordisk policy
• Coordinating with local vendors for computer parts replacement, RMA, and warranty claim
• Performing imaging process of Novo Nordisk laptop for Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems when necessary
• Other IT-related ad-hoc tasks as assigned
• VIDEOCONFERENCING MAINTENANCE
• Onsite diagnostic support for meeting room video conferencing equipment
• To provide service reports on the findings of issues reported

Requirement / Qualification

• 3 to 5 years’ experience as I.T support engineer
• Minimum – Diploma in I.T or relevant

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and observe system alerts or abnormal system behaviors.
• Follow incident isolation procedures to identify and verify faults.
• Apply problem resolution scripts to fix issues or escalate them as necessary.
• Consolidate records for reporting, monitoring, analytics, or audit purposes.
• Perform post-change system health checks to ensure no undesirable behaviors are introduced.
• Manage the entire lifecycle of incident tickets, including creation, updates, escalation, and closure.
• Review and verify the accuracy of operational scripts, suggesting areas for improvement.

Experience and Skills Needed:

• Possess a Nitec, Diploma, or Degree, preferably in Engineering or Information Technology.
• Willingness to work in teams on 12-hour rotational shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Ability to follow documented work instructions and procedures effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze the current state of the product runtime environment (both production and non-production) to ensure optimal system performance.
• Collaborate with application teams, solution architects, and security consultants to implement improvement plans based on data-driven strategies.
• Manage application and security incidents, and determine the cause of issues, working with internal teams and vendors to resolve them in a timely manner.
• Provide escalation and reporting to higher management or the incident committee when necessary.
• Develop operational and process guides to ensure compliance with audit requirements.
• Handle day-to-day operation activities, analyze statistics, and generate status and progress reports for stakeholders and higher management.
• Assist in managing an operations team, ensuring 24/7 support availability.

Experience and Skills Needed:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Operations Engineer or in a similar role in an IT setting.
• Experience with change management and incident management workflows, using ITSM tools such as Remedy, Zendesk, or ServiceDesk.
• Experience with cloud-native monitoring tools (e.g., Cloudwatch, Stackdriver) and the OpenAPM stack.
• Experience in implementing process automation with tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies, DevOps pipelines, and test-driven development.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a high-performance team and positively influence team dynamics.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical issues to non-technical teams.
